I use to love this hotel BUT my stay this week was not good. They have closed their pool, you have to pay to park, and I left my room at 8am and got back after 4pm and they were just starting to clean it.

BED BUGS 2/29/24. After bringing to night manager they moved me to a different room. Offered a $10 voucher, joke. Moved to room on floor below, same issue several bed bugs in that room. Hotel refunded money but I had to find a new hotel at 10pm in the evening when I had to work at 8am. Still waiting for those "bonus points" the night manager had promised. Health Department has been notified. It's a shame, I used to stay here every month but never again. I have pictures for proof. Shame on marriott for how they handled this situation.

Food & drinks: Very good buffet breakfast. Good for skiing multiple local areas and for eating in a variety of excellent SLC restaurants instead of at resorts.

I have been waiting for a long time to post this. This is not a five star review. I just want people to see this. This place has hidden cameras inside the rooms and when I alerted the manager about the one I found, he said that is very common and didn’t do anything about it. He was probably behind it. Please do not stay there if you’re a woman who’s traveling alone.

Never again! First, they cancelled our reservation without notice. (We purposefully booked the room an extra night so when we arrived in the morning, we could check-in at 9 am.) College Frat Parties on Friday and likely to be on Saturday night also. Three floors were reserved for this group and our room was unfortunately along with them. Security could not handle the situation so the police had to be called. People were checking out at 1:30 am to find a different hotel. I have pictures and videos to document if Marriott would like proof of what goes on in their hotels after hours. Never Again!Noteworthy details: If you have medical appointments at the University of Utah, do not stay at this hotel. You will not get ANY sleep! None, zero, zip…

Close to UMED Hospital and room service is delicious, no swimming pool, yet able to relax and room was decent, has small refrigerator, no microwave. Will stay here again for hospital appointments or close to U football stadium for games.Rooms: Room cleanSafety: Very safe, no homeless or suspicious peopleWalkability: Can walk but not recommended, it's all uphill to the hospitalFood & drinks: Ordered room service and it was great, nice portions and fresh. Ordered the burger and hot wings.Noteworthy details: Museums are here and so is the only zoo in Utah. Can visit the sports stuff at the U. Umed is also here in case any emergencies and there are food courts inside buildings throughout the campus. Cheapest and low quality meals are at the hospitals, except HCI, there food is top notch at HCI, but it's also where the cancer patients go ? can go ice skating and indoor pools during certain hours or hike up red butte canyon.

My church meets here on Sundays now instead of over at Salt Lake Sheraton for our Sunday Service.

Very expensive but close to the Huntsman. I had to stay one more night and didn't want to travel back downtown.Meals are very spendy. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room.Server was very attentive!

My wife had an appointment at the University of Utah Hospital and we stayed at the Marriott University Park. It is a great location. They give a discount to patients going to the hospital. Met another couple from southern Utah who stay at this hotel as well. The food was excellent. Had the salmon and the chicken for dinner the night before. Both tasted great and the service, Alex, was excellent as well. I had breakfast the following morning and the eggs, bacon and toast were all well cooked.I would recommend staying here, especially if you need to attend the hospital, which is only 10 minutes away, depending on traffic.Food & drinks: Service and food was excellent. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the salmon and the chicken was great. Alex was our server and he was excellent.
