Favorite coffee shop in town! The coffee is high quality, great food options, and the service is always fast and friendly. I’m gluten free, so it’s hard to find coffee shops with food I can eat, but the Spanish quesadilla here is my go-to! Lots of seating, and I especially love the second floor loft space.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pastries, cookies, cake, and savory potato quesadilla quiche.
The SLRC has been a fixture downtown for 40ish years and has always been a welcome caffeinated beacon in a state where coffee is a moral failing. Their coffee is generally excellent, occasionally over roasted, but food is hit and miss. I had a citrus loaf today that was so dry I had one bite and it went straight in the bin. The cashier asked if I wanted room for milk and then filled the cup to the brim. Parking behind the cafe is a mess, so park on 800 E. Of the various locations...read full review

Very vintage place, makes you enjoy the coffee as it is mostly quiet and chill.But have to say that the coffee here is a little expensive depending on the drink, competition has better pricing but hey, worth it for a coffee that actually gives you a boost for your day!
