Another fantastic meal with friends at Stoneground! Awesome booth sat our group of 4 really comfortably. Great decor and vibe inside. Our server was excellent. The food was great as usual; I really enjoyed the slightly spicy Steve's Special penne, but others in our group really enjoyed their lasagna and black tagliatelle. The homemade pastas really set Stoneground apart. It's a really nice restaurant but they're not trying to be too fancy or pretentious about it....
Our dinner experience was somewhat mixed. My partner had the marys chicken and it was really good. Perfectly cooked chicken with nice mashers and veg. Great reduction sauce. I ordered a pasta that was so salty I could not eat it also the clams were very gritty. The dish was a disaster. The beet salad was delicious and bread was super salty. That said it was an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is great and our server Vi was terrific. I would return but I would avoid the pasta....
We chose to celebrate our 1st year anniversary at this restaurant and everything was perfect. The food, the ambiance and the service were spot on. They brought us a nice complementary dessert! Nice touch !
