That was possibly the best smothered chili Verde burrito of my life to date. That's saying something because there are some dang good smothered burritos in the valley. I will definitely be back to sample more of the menu!
The name is inconsistent, but this place knows how to make Mexican food, to support the local hipster crowd.No frills, but great Mexican food.Go before 10am to get the 5.99 Mexican speciality, which includes the Super Burrito, either your choice of 3 meats, might I recommend the Carne asada, bacon and El Pastor.It's the anti-diabetic special!
Your understated taco dive joint... and I mean that with the absolute highest accolades possible. My kind of place... Anthony Bourdain's too. You feel like you are about an hour outside of Zihuantanejo, where the tourists don't know anything about it... and the locals want to keep it that way. Very tasty tacos on the most perfect corn tortillas. However, the Gorditas were killer and are definitely the star of this place! Perfectly crisped and not over "doughy"....
