We had carnitas, and it was tender and rich like a pot roast. The flavor was delicious, glad we tried it. The tortillas were a sweet, corn style which were a pleasant difference It was obvious the owner takes great pride in their food.
The food was really great. I got the smothered burrito which was a little too salty but still good and other people got the chicken enchiladas. Another got the fish tacos, which they said were amazing. The salsa was incredibly delicious.
The biggest issue was that the speed of the service was really really really slow. I don't think they could survive if more than our group of 8 came in. Half of the table was done with their food before the other dishes...
