This little cafe is quiet, bright, and cheery. We had a latte and a cappuccino, both delicious and made from oat milk. The latte was very good, but the cappuccino was amazing. Both the fried egg sandwich and rice egg dishes were amazing. My partner and I have been working our way through various breakfast spots in SLC and this is officially one of our favorites.

I can’t say enough good things about the Dayroom. We came for brunch on a Saturday while in town for a conference. Oat milk latte was perfect. The potato waffle was so different and just delicious, prepared Benedict style with an egg and hollandaise. The chili verde was SPICY (and tasty) so beware! The pumpkin French toast was truly special. If I ever return to SLC this will be my first stop.

Okay, what can I tell you about a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that hasn't been said? Retro-chic environment with a simple menu and seating style. I ordered 'The Norm' which has its own ironic ring to it. I strategically ordered over medium eggs as most restaurants can't get that right. This dish came with 'some simple potatoes' and fresh cheese and toast and 'Your Eggs'. I was amazed and flabbergasted to find the eggs were perfectly cooked with a custard-like consistency. The potatoes were anything but simple. Perfectly crisp and fried exterior and creamy interior. Toast with cheese was buttery freshly seasoned, toasty and warm. What a pleasant surprise.

That one of my poached eggs was *slightly* overcooked is a sin that could impinge upon an otherwise sublime experience. However, the food was so very beautiful, the location and service so lovely, that I nonetheless give The Dayroom all the stars. Succotash with lime ricotta, and the chilaquiles you always hope for but are never granted. Thanks, chef Carrier.
This is such a cute spot to spend your morning, your afternoon, or, heck, even your evening! The coffee is great, the internet is FAST, and the atmosphere is cute and not too loud.

Last minute find for coffee and a quick breakfast and it was a good find! Iced latte is amazing and they have the cutest outdoor seating area. The place is well run with friendly staff. The bagel that my boyfriend got was made with love that's for sure, and i got the eggs and potatoes which sounds simple but was made excellent

They make one of the best decaf lattes I have ever had. Rich tasty foam and full coffee flavor. My husband had a regular latte which was likewise well made. Their baked goods were fresh and delicious. Also had a sandwich that was enjoyable, we are not fans of the crisp bread but that is only a matter of personal taste. Enjoyed just sitting outside on their patio with our food and drinks.

AMAZING! So, the dayroom catered my wedding. It was amazing. We had six courses and it was incredible. Everyone said it was by far the best wedding food theyve had and some of the best food they have ever eaten. Furthermore, the customer service was off the charts. We had some delays the day of due to weather and Milo and his team were nothing but kind and accommodating. In addition, their restaurant is great. Everytime I eat there I am do impressed by the care and thought that goes into each dish. Its absolutely one of my favorite places in slc and I reccomend it to everyone I know.
