I was walking by this spot, it’s nondescript, but not only did it change my perspective on salt lake, it showed me what a listening bar should be. Great cocktails, even better music, amazing atmosphere. I will be back, you should check it out.

This is not a listening bar. The dj almost blew the speakers it was turned up so loud. I had to yell to talk with my friend who was sitting right next to me. Drinks were good but will not be going back. The atmosphere is like any other bar sadly.

Loud as all hell. Also teeny weeny. That IS a vibe, not a complaint, but definitely a necessary heads up for patrons. I sadly forgot my earplugs that night, so I had to leave within 20 minutes because my ears were hurting so bad. T^T I asked for a NA version of one of the cocktails and the bartender made sure to check with me/not include bitters. (I forget bitters technically have alcohol.) That's valuable attention to detail for any sober-dovers and teetotallers who may find themselves here. I appreciated that and my highball was still pretty freaking tasty though I'm sure with the gin actually in it, it would be phenomenal. The bar is obviously inspired by kissa lounges which is really cute and especially unique for a place like SLC. Companion told me it has pretty solid NYC vibes. Good stuff and looking forward to returning WITH my earplugs.

One bartender in particular was unbelievably rude, aggressive, and unprofessional for no reason at all. The bar itself is fun, but it is completely soiled by the awful female bartender working 2/27. Hopefully this can be addressed so that it’s not such a hostile environment for patrons.
