Great service but i can't understand how they won awards for best pizza. Super pricey for what you get And the food was honestly not that great

The Pie has been great for a long time but as of late I am confused on why its so hard for these folks to properly sauce a pizza - Is it that hard ?

They started charging for extra sauce a year or so ago- $2 to add extra BBQ sauce - That's a rip and now when we ask and pay for extra sauce BBQ or regular the main body of the pizza has almost zero sauce with some added near the outer crust-

Why are we now skimping so hard on sauce folks ? Toppings are solid as usual but the lack of sauce is annoying and no I don't want a side of Marinara to dip into it as the sauce should be baked into the pizza itself-

First visit to the Pie Pizzeria, opted for a simple pepperoni 12 inch pizza - delicious, friend opted for gluten free cheesy pull-apart bread - also amazing (which is a surprise as decent GF bread is hard to come by!).

Was only in town for a couple of days, will definitely return if I'm back in SLC.

As a student at the U, maybe I ordered the wrong pizza, but I think the place is *slightly* overhyped. The pizza was good and they have many unique combos. I have not eaten inside, so maybe it’s better if you do that.

It's the pie. You can feel the weight of the mistake you are about to make. But it feels so right. You'll be back, again and again.

I was recommended this place and wanted to like it. I ordered a large half pepperoni/ half cheese pizza. It was of good quality but very salty and the ranch could not drain out the saltiness. My buddy got the mac and cheese with buffalo chicken and the chicken was very dry.

BBQ chicken is my fav.

The general manager Brennan was so kind, he drove 40 minutes OUT OF HIS WAY to help me carry all of the pizza to my event when my car was too small. Incredible service, incredible pizza, incredible people. Thank you THANK YOU for saving the day!

So I typically love the pie , the extreme veggie is amazing . Today I got the combo and all the veggies were sliding off the cheese everything and underneath it had a moist wetness not sure if it’s oil but it made the pizza feel soggy . The wings are good . I’m getting my regular order next time
