Not the quickest place as far as service goes, but the chamomile waffle I had was definitely worth it. Excellent presentation and aromatic flavor, decent coffee, and they will leave you alone to enjoy the trendy atmosphere. It made me want to try even more of their dishes!

TIP automatically charged without telling you. It was just my husband and I. As mentioned on the other comments the service is slow. We got 2 breakfast plates and 2 lattes and it came $55. Also, if your getting charged a tip, they should also least bring your drink as well, NOT just the food.

I enjoyed my deluxe bfast Sammy.
I would go back.
Air conditioner was broken too in the main area to order. Hope they fix it soon. We almost left thinking it was way too hot but the room to the right was cooler.

Perfect place for brunch! The food is beautiful and delicious and the rose fog is my favorite way to start the morning. Parking can be a challenge tho. I'd recommend parking at the nearby Planetarium and walking there.

This was as hip as Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but without being crowded at all! No lines! Perhaps my favorite place in SLC as far as little touches like the tea served in a glass teapot and filling your own glasses of water from a filtered water tap. Plus, their Tahini Banana Muffin was to die for. Would drive for miles to eat here again. I bought the teeshirt!

One of the few places in SLC that serves a proper espresso and all of their food is fantastic.

The coffee prices are fair, and the pastries are average. The atmosphere is welcoming but the baristas are rude. Only one person was willing to help us when they over charged us for a drink we did not purchase. The male barista who served them was rude and radiated an “entitled mentality.” I asked him about what drinks of the 4 on the counter were. He said “I’ll call your name…” the issue with this, is that I knew the drinks were mine but didn’t know which drinks were which. Had he taken the time to actually listen and hear me out and not assume, my mood would’ve been better. Not to mention, they AUTOMATICALLY TAC ON 18% GRATUITY. I wouldn’t assume that because those tips come in, you earned them. Waste of my money.

I wouldn’t go back here again. The outside smelled like urine and our table was sticky upon sit down.

Latte 10/10. Breakfast sammie 10/10. No wifi? Absolutely criminal. 1 star.

The Rose Establishment is lovely. Their baristas are so nice, the ambiance of the place is so inviting, and I like that they don’t offer WiFi but instead encourage customers to connect with each other and off the internet.

That being said, a cafe not offering WiFi may need to be advertised at checkout or near the entrance door so customers are aware. I had to answer a couple of work emails but I was able to do so via the hotspot on my phone giving my laptop internet access and then afterwards I promptly disconnected.

I ordered the 9-to-5 breakfast sandwich and it was divine! Flavorful, fresh, and filling. I also got a vanilla latte and it was warming and perfect.

I look forward to my next visit! Will bring a book or a friend next time.

Not a kid friendly establishment. We came to have brunch with some friends, and we have several children between us, including one infant. While we were finishing up our meal, my infant accidentally hit her head on the table and started crying loudly. My husband and friends were gathering up our belongings and getting jackets on the kids (it was cold and rainy outside) so that we could leave, while I stood to bounce my baby to try to calm her. She was crying for probably 2 minutes, if that, and the owner of the restaurant approached my husband and asked us to take our kids outside so the other patrons wouldn’t be disturbed. I find it inappropriate and lacking compassion to ask a paying customer to take their hurt, crying infant outside in the rain. Our other children were well behaved. It seems there have been other reviews of this restaurant not being kid friendly, so parents beware.

Neat vibe and proper coffee by Australian and New Zealand standards. Flat white, not boiling the milk. Thank you for the attention to detail! ?

It was okay. Really nothing all that special. I got nothing I couldn't get more filling at Denny's. Perhaps it was just an off day.
