Now I'm not a tea snob or claim to really know anything about loose leaf tea in general, but the employees are always ready to help you find the tea of your dreams. You can get loose leaf tea to take home, or drink at the shop.
Kenya is always so, so helpful and knowledgeable when I come in! I tell her how I'm feeling, whether I'm looking for something spiced, floral, or light, and she always has the perfect suggestion! She lets me smell my options, and the Tea Grotto will even mix teas together on request for your teapot service. Kenya also was so knowledgeable when it came to helping me figure out how I can brew tea at home! She is the best!!!! 💕
I love their tea pot service the most! You get a cute little tea pot and 2, count them, TWO (2) re-steeps! The Masala chai is my favorite this time of year! Milk is a small extra charge, but they only charge you once for it, so you can get it refilled as many times as needed.
The atmosphere slays SO hard. Cozy, quiet, and warm. Last week, I brought a friend and sat in the Grotto with her, we legit felt like VIPs. 🥰🥰
(Parking is also not bad! There is street parking up and down 900 s! The building also has a ramp up to the door. We LOVE accessibility in this house)

This has been my go-to spot for loose leaf tea for a while. They have wide variety and there is always something new to try along with my usual teas. The employees are always very friendly and super helpful. I like to try new teas and the employees are happy to share their knowledge and provide recommendations. They've never missed!
And on top of all that, it's got such a chill and cozy atmosphere. Great place to read a book.

Visiting SLC I love Tea Grotto! Wish there was one where I live. I’d go every day! So many wonderful tea options and delightful desserts. The young woman who assisted me was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Ended up purchasing two bags of different teas, comforting tomato soup of the day, a pot of healer tea (effectively spicy;) and a scone.

I spent several hours savoring my tea and enjoying the cozy atmosphere, and I could have easily stayed for many more. I've been going here for years. Went in yesterday to some of the rudest, uninformed staff they've ever had. shame.
Love this place! For sure my favorite tea spot with plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Great tea selection with the option to buy your favorite and take home! They offer smoothies, milk teas and other fun seasonal beverages! They also have fresh snacks and food available to order. Plenty of tea drinking supplies, cups, utensils etc for purchase as well. Staff is always super friendly. The baked goods could have better presentation - but they are good. Cookies could be a less "flat" and "crackeresque" but they still taste great. Wish there was more seating - it's very small... but the seating is cute, relaxing and intimate. Would absolutely recommend for a fun tea experience or date.

Went twice over a long weekend. The bevs were really refreshing and a the place is just nice environment to wind down in. I would absolutely recommend if you like tea and mellow vibes. They have so many tea options. I got a hibiscus citrus based drink with a splash of lemonade.

Celeste's etiquette and warmth paired with the excellent selection in store makes The Tea Grotto an ideal place to come in and relax.
