Don’t know if it’s any good. We called to see if there was a wait for 6 and were told there was no wait. I noted we were 5-10 min away and asked if they could hold a table and was told it shouldn’t be an issue. We arrived in that time frame and were told it was an hour wait. We left.

Really nice place. Appropriate volume inside. We ordered an appetizer-skewer trio. Very delicious but personally i could taste the wooden skewers just a bit.Then we ordered crispy style sushi- spicy tuna with scallions and crunchy shallots. Pretty delicious! Rice was fried perfectly. I've had this at jinyas before and it was very oily. But this one was perfect. I'm just not sure the texture of the rice is my personal favorite. I would order again if I was with someone who's never had it like my mom or a friend.Secondly we had a tempura fried roll- DTH roll. P good. Not enough texture. Missing a veggie in this one. Would like to try a different roll next time.Husband got the dinner combination plate- tacos and steak. And chicken wings! Delicious

Sorry half of it was gone by the time I remembered to take a photo. First time I went to tsunami was for a bad date ? this second time was for a good date . Staff is friendly and the sushi is great. My boyfriend doesn’t like sushi unless there’s no vegetables and if it’s deep fried. So we got a lot of the fried rolls and no avocado. Which made me sad ?. It’s okay though still tastes great without veggies. Definitely am coming here again.

We love this restaurant! So glad to see that the reopened the Sugar House location. We chose to sit at the bar. Compared to other Tsunami locations it is just kinda blah. However, the Chef's were personable and fun.

Wonderful spot to get delicious sushi. Skip the salmon rangoon - was a miss. All the sushi was wonderful and fresh. P.D. and Jenny were the clear favorites. Enjoyed the Executive roll as well. Wait staff were attentive and cocktails were good. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town for sure!
Thein was my sushi chef at the bar, and he did a great job!! My server was also wonderful, but I didn't catch her name. She had a septum piercing and a nostril stud. Both of them were perfect, and my rolls were amazing! I always recommend the Jenny, it always stands out to me as my favorite.

Great gluten free options! The brownies were very impressive for being guten free. We were disappointed by the P.D. roll but loved the Sunshine roll.Not gluten free but the shrimp poppers were amazing as was the Coconut Glory dessert!Have it a 4 star as service was SLOW!
