The food is expensive. A cup with 5 broccoli and 5 baby carrots cost 4.20. Otherwise variety and atmosphere is good.

They have a wide variety of options and food that looks and smells amazing. I was excited to try the carrot cake. It was over cooked and lacking in sugar. Overall a huge let down. I got a deli sandwich as well. The chipotle turkey was great except that they only put a single slice on the sandwich. The vegetables were the star of the show. The bread was sliced thinner than I like too. All in all a lot of missed opportunities. That being said. It was filling and good and the price point wasn't bad. I'm not going out of my way to return but it is still a decent lunch.

For decades, people dreaded going to the hospital. They were anxious about the care they required, but they were also put off by the food they would be served. Nutritious, yes, but bland and boring. My wife spent three weeks in a Boise hospital and the food there hadn't changed much from decades ago. Imagine our surprise, then, when they flew her to the Univ. of Utah Hospital for another 10 days of treatment. I couldn't believe how good the U's cafeteria is.One of the best offerings is their weekday poke bowls and sushi. From a hospital! Made fresh daily on premises by a small crew that comes in. As good as you'll get in any restaurant. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Since I work at the hospital the cafeteria is a great place for some lunch or dinner. They have plenty of excellence options which include Pizza’s, calzones, sandwiches, burgers, and even a special of the day. I love their grilled cheese sandwiches they hit the spot. Their prices are not bad either, I can get two grilled cheese sandwiches for seven dollars which isn’t bad at all. The staff is friendly on top of getting your meal ready for you. A great place to get some good comfort food.

Cat and Cynthia are truly the GREATEST care team! They are compassionate, caring and always helpful. Super experience during my hospitalization.

Every single time we come to this cafeteria, there's someone loudly droning on and on about something no one cares about. This time it was some lady talking about the carbon footprint of plastic grocery bags but she herself was holding one. Another time it was a homeless lady loudly talking about some unmentionables while people were trying to eat. The cafeteria always has the majority of their vendor spots empty, but it's a pretty good place other than the obnoxious people who have no self awareness.

They offer variety of food plus a guest restaurant every day. It is affordable for the employees and patients. It is usually very crowed at lunch hour but it closes late everyday.

Thankful for a place to grab food while visiting someone in the hospital. Had my son with me that has severe food allergies to dairy, nuts, eggs and it was difficult to find fresh made food that was safe. The items created onsite were difficult to confirm ingredients in. It would be nice to have ingredients and allergy warnings available in a place where safety and nutrition are important. The hospital already takes these precautions for patients so I would assume it would be possible to take this one step further into the cafeteria with just a little guidance. On the positive note, the staff is friendly and they even make fresh sushi onsite.

It's a Michelin 5 star cafeteria.Omg the truffle encrusted Salman is to die for. They must have gone to the premiere culinary schools to staff this cafeteria. It's way Better then school lunch.
