We wanted to find somewhere that had good looking cocktail choices. Luckily the Saturday we showed up it wasn't busy. We could talk to each other and enjoy each other's company. Around 10pm a DJ came and it got a little louder. The bar tender said usually it gets really busy so we were lucky this night it didn't. We had a couple really good drinks. One was created by the bar tender there, a riff on a New York Sour. So good. A couple random drinks on their list we wanted to try for fun. They serve food, a couple loud tables were there, but we didn't order anything. We would come again, early to hopefully beat the crowd. Feels upscale to other places in town.

We had a good experience at this place! The food was delicious, especially the recommended mango dessert with an extra touch of coconut flavor, which was a delightful surprise. The seating area was cozy and perfect for our company gathering, and the server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. the server she patiently answered all our questions and made sure we were well taken care of. The drinks were well madd, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Overall, it was a five-star experience, and we’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in town.

I was part of a party of four. We all had cocktails, food and were there for about 3 hours. The cocktails were all phenomenal. Seriously they were the best part of our experience and why this is a two star review. If they were bad it would be one star. The waitress came 3 times which was a shame because we probably would have got more cocktails. Two of the four food items arrived cold like they were refrigerated, they were supposed to be hot. When we asked for hot food we were then served lukewarm food. Would not go back. Service was also very poor. The only good thing was the cocktails.

I had a great time here when I came for Sunday funday. Off the bat, the security at the door was super cool and inviting. I wish I had gotten his name for a shoutout. The most beautiful women I've ever seen come to this bar, so look nice. The bartenders are so cool! They stay vibing with the music and it provides a great atmosphere when the bartenders don't look like they hate being there. Can't wait to go back.

We originally had reservations at Ivy and Varley, and ended up next door. Although the food, cocktails, and atmosphere were all wonderful, the service was absolutely abysmal despite it not being very busy. We ordered a round of shots and cocktails- we received the shots with a promise the server would be back soon with cocktails, since they can’t be served at the same time due to Utah law. Not a problem.However, we waited 45 min (!) after the shot to have our drinks arrive, despite flagging the waiter down multiple times. When the cocktails arrived, we requested to place orders for food and to have more water. They hurried away and returned ~10 minutes later to take food order and did not bring water. While waiting for our food, 2 different waiters came by with incorrect food orders asking if they belonged to us. When the food did arrive, we had to request water and utensils again. Then, we had to wait another 30 min to get the check. I don’t mind paying these elevated prices in return for quality food, environment, and service, but the service absolutely ruined this for me. The suggested tip was anywhere from 20-30%, which I found outrageous in comparison to the service.
This is a great place for a quick drink and some appetizers after work or before an event if you are in the downtown area.

The Varley was a wonderful experience. We had originally made reservations for the Ivy&Varley, but we thought the patio might be a little too cool and so we ended up next door at the Varley. We had such an incredible dining experience. The menu is the same at both locations, but there was an elevated elegance to the dining area. There was live dinner, music with the DJ. The service along with the food, and the ambience was sensational. We forget the young man’s name, but we were greeted fabulously by the amazing host. We were then served by Dani, who took fantastic care of us. Our picture booth overlooking second S. was very romantic. We had a sensational evening. Not only do we have the Ivy&Varley to visit again but now we have the Varley as well. All in all it was a great dining experience.

Classic lounge with a great location and a solid selection of spirits. Andrew and Robert craft unique, creative mixes.In town for a conference, I stopped in for a couple of drinks. Andrew made an excellent old fashioned with a nice hint of cinnamon. They even suggested a unique take on the drink with an in house spiced syrup.I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, and the drinks.
It would be good to go out and drink here but don't let the food menu fool you into coming here if you don't drink, and definitely do not order the salmon belly blt ? had to send the whole thing back; it was a wad of fishy salmon meat with two pieces of bacon on an extremely dense “ English muffin” I can't even believe how bad it was. The Brussels sprouts were good, the soup of the day was tomato basil; it was barley cambells quality and they drizzled mayo over the top :( not the best experience but the setting of the bar was nice.

Nice business dinner. Mondays are quiet and easy to get a reservation. Food is somewhat tapas style. Great appetizers including brussels sprouts as well as charcuterie and mussels. Prices are reasonable. Many fancy cocktails to choose from.
