Frequently closed. This is what happens when self serving leadership makes it a place for their young friends to hang out and runs it into the ground. It's unfortunate for the veterans and members looking for some comradery and support.

Went last night, by all accounts online it seemed open. Arrive to see that it was closed. That was disappointing. No sign just trash near entrance.

I have tried to visit this VFW club three or four times in the last few months. I went there yesterday and it was closed for remodeling. The frustrating thing is that the websites related to this bar have no information about those closures. If you read the website you would believe they were open. I'm going to take this club off my list for year or two. As a life member of VFW, that gripes me. I realize that everybody associated with it are volunteers. But somebody ought to take the time to fix the website and tell everybody the freaking place is closed!

VFW posts are well known for being very supportive of veterans and this post is no exception. They run an open bar, non-veterans are welcome, and you don’t need to be a BFW member to have a drink there. Drinks are very cheap, the bartenders are friendly and fast, you can run a tab with a credit card, and they have pretty good bands most weekends. This is not a fancy bar. I was there with some other vets and it was very friendly. I recommend it.

My band played here (Voodoo Cactus). Chance the bartender creates a great atmosphere. Friendly people and great crowd. Hope to be back soon!
Classic, old school bar with several great pool tables and a fun stage that has bands and karaoke. The only reason it didn't get five stars from me is one of the bartenders has a serious attitude problem. He 86'd my friend for waiting for me outside and then coming back in. I don't know what he thought was going on, but his behavior was absolutely inexcusable. He put his hands on my friend and threatened him for no reason. Honestly, he seemed like he was on drugs. In this day and age we absolutely could have called the police and filed an assault charge. But we were trying to have a fun night! So we just went somewhere else
