Opentable Diner

We dined at Corner Brew Pub Sugar House last night and had a mixed experience. The food was delicious and offered great value, which we really appreciated. However, the service fell short of expectations. While our server was pleasant, my meal was brought out 15 minutes before my wife's, leaving my food cold by the time hers arrived. This impacted our overall enjoyment. We hope this feedback helps improve the dining experience for future guests.

first time back since they changed the name from Wasatch Brew Pub. It was okay. service was okay, food was okay but nothing outstanding though the ley lime dessert was not good- it was like it was made incorrectly and they still tried to serve it - almost nonpalatable one bite by the 3 of us and we were done. Was not busy on a Saturday evening so noise level was okay. overall, okay but not going to be part of our usual rotation for dining out too many other better places nearby.

Josh gave us EXCELLENT service! He didn't rush us but kept an eye on us and made the evening great!

Food was amazing! Cheese curds and the vegetable burger were great recommendations. Viktor was very friendly and informative!

Decent pub food, better than your average. Beer was not that notable however. The stout and IPA I tried were lacking in flavor - a bit watery in my opinion.

Our server Steve was outstanding. He was everything you could want in a waiter. The food was just ok. We had dinned there a couple of weeks earlier with better results.

Really nice seating but all the food was pretty much bad. Also, the music was annoying.

Our server, Stephen was amazing! We had a large party with lots of special requests. He did a great job making sure our orders were correct and kept our glasses full. Food was good, but the service was exceptional!

Our server Drew was amazing, and the ABCLT&S was phenomenal. If you’re looking for a spot to eat in Sugar House, Corner Brew Pub is a must.

The owner(s) claim “only our name has changed.”
Unfortunately I couldn’t disagree more.
Having been a frequent patron before the rebranding, change of ownership, change of management etc…not only a name change…it’s an “everything” change, and not in a positive fashion.
The service from the moment one enters has changed….to a “we’ll acknowledge you at our convenience”…and with minimal greetings.
The bar service was beyond unacceptable. While the bartender was not the most friendly or service oriented, the complete lack of service lies with management…as the bartender was also covering tables within the restaurant….not the bar area.
Having been a bar manager, I personally would have never accepted the level of service that Corner Brew provided.
The craft beer offerings are scarce, and if you’re after a local IPA, Corner Brew is not the spot.
The “IPA” offerings from Top of Main would not be considered a true IPA from anyone who has experience with craft IPA.
The fare continued the untoward experience at Corner Brew. While the establishment operated as Wasatch, with a different kitchen staff, the fare was always fresh, well presented and depth of flavors.
This visit consisted of the Loaded Tater Tots…which consisted of low quality, frozen tots that were unevenly cooked. They were topped with low quality bagged cheese…that is such low quality, the cheese didn’t even adhere to the tots below. The cheese was inedible and was removed as an entire slab of “rubber”.
Overall, the establishment as it exists is not remotely reminiscent of old.
Hopefully the owner(s) and management will recognize the several, and subjectively, severe shortcomings and right the ship before it’s too late.
Until such time, there are many better options in SLC

Delicious!

A small but good collection of beers on tap. The food is consistently good and locally sourced. A solid place for up-themed pub inspired food. The fig pizza is tasty. Buffalo burger had a rich texture and was delicious.

Food was great and our waitress was very good and friendly. Noise level was a bit high but not too bad. Nice location.

Service was good and the food was okay but nothing special. I ordered carne asada tacos, and they were just okay. I decided to just eat the filling on the third taco and it highlighted that the meat was dry and overall it was not a great dish. That being said, the prices are very reasonable and I believe you get what you pay for.
