Makanmakan Asian Streat Food Fare

Makanmakan (or Eat Eat in Indonesian) is one of the few (and maybe only) authentic Indonesian restaurants in the United States. We loved it. Our niece served a mission in Indonesia and she highly recommended MakanMakan. We took her there to celebrate her upcoming wedding and had a great meal.

I liked how it is Asian food with a unique combination of savory and sweet flavors that set it apart from all others.

Indonesians like spicey food, so if you don't like it hot, they are happy to put the hot sauces on the side.

The portions are generous and affordable. The waitresses are very nice and helpful.

I dined at Makanmakan last night for the first time. The food was fantastic! Plentiful portions, too. And we loved our server, who was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to eat there again!

We have been craving good Asian food down south forever!!! We usually drive to Bountiful. This was the most flavorful, delicious food we've had in a long time!!!
We had their wings as an appetizer. We had the Prawn dish and the Basil chicken. A bit spicy but we LOVE SPICE!! This was the BEST Asian we've had in such a long time!!! Great service from our waitress, she actually described so many things to us but they also have pics of every dish!!

This is our most regular go-to take out place. Love it.
The wings, the Stir Fry String Bean w/ Black Bean Sauce, Ayam Bakar, and Mie Tek Tek are our usuals. Love it!

The food is great, my favorite is the Laksa and a side of Roti Canai. The food reminds me of my time in Malaysia. The place is clean, quiet with good service.

So good. Would recommend the Singapore noodles, beef rengdang, lumpia, and spicy basil chicken.

The food was absolutely amazing. This is not an ordinary restaurant. The food was a collision of tastes and touted as street food. I had the grilled pork stake on a (skewer) with rice... amazing. The atmosphere is friendly, the comes quick, and the staff are helpful.
