Love Mint!! It’s not your classic “sushi place” - and for the better! My wife and I recently did the sushi making class and LOVED IT! We were blown away. Chef Soy (owner of MINT) taught the class himself and was incredibly talented, funny, and personable. It was a great ‘date night.’ HIGHLY recommend (especially for the price). The Mint sushi at Sugarhouse and Cottonwood Heights were solid. In this Mint? My friend had their signature dish Jalapeño hamachi and loved it but my own sea bass was just ok. It was bland and fish was over cooked. In terms of dish composition, I also wasn’t thrilled. The fish was tiny and there were two deep fried jalapeño and deep fried sweet potato.
