One of the best dining experiences in Utah. Highly recommend. The service was impeccable, Holly made us feel like we were in a 5-star restaurant with white glove service. Our entrees were so delicious and the desserts were PHENOMENAL!!!
We wanted a change of scene from the excellent Snowpine Lodge where we were staying for a week. A short walk down the hill brought us to the Shallow Shaft restaurant. We loved the ambience as soon as we walked in. It is an old mining hut (silver used to be mined in the canyon) and has a similar ambience to what you would find in an old challet style restaurant in the Alps (although they could probably improve on the tables. Situated in a relatively old building with timbers and antique objects. The food is excellent with themed nights. On game night I had Elk which was cooked to perfection along with the lmushroom ravioli. There is a good wine list. The service is excellent, friendly and helpful.
