As anywhere, staff make the experience complete and there is a lot of love at el Gallo Loco! Salsas were delicious, packed with goodness and blended just right. Meats were perfect as well, could have used a little more Pico on the tacos but the chunkiness of the salsa more than made up for that. I've been coming here since 2018 and this place has consistently been an absolute gem

We came for the food and stayed for the music! The staff are very kind and welcoming. Coming from LA (Los Angeles…) I’ve missed authentic Mexican food and this place nails it. Hard to find good Mole and you can enjoy it here! Loved the pastor as well.

People complaining about portions must be used to having a SAD diet - that is, “standard American diet”… the portions are beyond generous. So glad we happened to be in the neighborhood and found this spot!

The Breakfast Burrito was disgusting and pricey $19.20 for it. Del Taco has better tasting burritos. Would not recommend it at all.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the state.

First time in with the family, service was friendly but didn’t may much detail to the table, etc. One small basket of chips for 4 of us. The salsas were flavorful but literally no chips to eat it with. It was apparent we shouldn’t ask for more so we didn’t. Ordered chicken fajitas and steak fajitas - came out sizzling hot but literally had maybe 1 spoonful of steak and just a bit of chicken. A ton of good onions and a huge pieces of cactus. Flavorful but had much better. Tortillas were good but were charged $6 for extras…not sure why we had 2 separate orders of fajitas which generally would each come with own set to tortillas. An ice cream scoop side of warm rice was $4. Ordered ala carte borrow taco, was charged for it but never received it (note he did fix the feel and apologized). It was very slow in the restaurant - one other couple. Disappointing overall - was hoping and really wanted to like this place.

One of the best enchiladas I've had. The salsas they have are also the tastiest I've had. The enchiladas were so good, that once I started eating, I totally forgot to take pictures of them. Maybe next time I come I'll have more pictures.

Can’t believe I haven’t been here before. Carnitas are delicious, staff is fantastic.

I do not understand the many positive reviews here. Complimentary chips were so small (even though the 3 salsas were admittedly good), my wife’s fajitas had a human hair in it, and then at the end an automatic 18% gratuity is added - even on a group of just 4. Poor experience!

Decent food but WOW the slowest service I could possibly imagine. My expectations were fairly low but they were still not met. Standing in the entrance for 10 minutes waiting to be seated. Sitting at a table for 20 minutes before getting menus. Getting food and waiting 10 minutes for silverware to eat it with.

Could have been an off night or something - like I said, the food was pretty good. But a quick bite turned into a marathon meal because of the service.

Great food, great service, fun atmosphere. Jesus was amazing with his personalized service. Crispy Tacos included 4 tacos and a huge portion of guacamole. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful meal and even more wonderful staffer work here. Everybody seem to be having a good time. The mole chicken was tasty as well as the pozole. Fajitas were tasty, especially when cooked peppers. They provide free salsas but be ready. One of them is super hot.
