The food was pretty good and I usually get pretty good portions. However I would avoid ordering ahead or submitting an online pick up. I tried it out today because I had a shirt lunch for work. They forgot the lettuce, I was given maybe a toddler sized handful of the tortilla strips, and one half of the bowl I was given(i ordered a burrito so it was acting as a divider) was completely full of salsa. For some that may be a bonus but everything i come to Cafe Rio I get a scoop so...
We love that they are open late…even on Sundays. With not many places open very late nowadays other than fast food…it’s nice to have a good spot to go for late dinners. Chips and queso always a must. Chicken salad for the win!
This is the third time I’ve come to the Cafe Rio in Saratoga and they’ve charged me for things I didn’t order. This last time, they added a soda and charged us for steak instead of chicken… So pay close attention to your receipt, because this has been happening often…
