Sushi Rolls are yummy!!! I would Recommend trying the jalapeño bomb also nice appetizer!!! However, in the bento box choice do NOT get the Steak it’s super chewy besides that I would definitely still recommend giving this place to try!!!

The food is always delicious whether I order takeout or dine in! They never forget the chopsticks, teriyaki sauce, or fortune cookies, which I personally appreciate. Even with delivery, the food still arrives hot and fresh. When dining in, the food comes out quickly, the drinks are served within minutes of being seated, and the staff is always attentive and welcoming. Everything is consistently great every time I visit!

Sushi was great! My wife and I are usually pretty full after $50 of sushi, but were left wanting after $50 of sushi here. Not sure if we just ordered something with small portions, but the money didn’t go as far as other local places, like Hama.

I had a really disappointing experience at Red 8. From the moment we arrived, the service felt off. We asked if we could sit in the back, and the server seemed immediately irritated, responding with “fine, go back there” in a pretty dismissive tone. Which was strange because there were two other people in there at the time.
When she came to the table, she basically tossed the menus down and walked away without saying much. The whole interaction felt passive-aggressive, and we genuinely couldn’t figure out what we did wrong.
It took about 15 minutes just to have our order taken, and even then the attitude didn’t improve—very blunt, no effort to be welcoming at all.
Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. After eating, both my date and I had stomach pain that lasted into the next day, which makes me question the food quality and safety.
Overall, between the rude service and the way we felt after eating, it was not a good experience. I wouldn’t come back.
And also I thought I should mention that the same waitress gave us the receipt at the end, but had charged us the “wrong price” she said, so she voided the transaction and charged us again. After the entire experience it was just kind of a strange thing to happen. At this point I’m not sure if three rolls is really $60. And I’m going to edit this review since I’m unable to reply to what the owner said, Clearly you guys remember who we were. I’m sure our server does because she was extremely rude to us. I’ve looked at the other reviews and have seen the exact same thing that we experienced. And honestly your response to this tells me everything I need to know. Even if the customer was completely in the wrong, It says more about the business when they can validate their customers experience instead of invalidating everything and just defending themself. You should respect all of your customers even if you have a bad day at work, It’s why you’re getting paid.

Amazing! This is absolutely the best Japanese spot in Utah! I have been here several times and I've never been let down. Excellent service, food is perfect and is always done in a timely manner.

I think this is a really good place to get some really good food. Been there multiple times and if I stay long they never try to rush me out. The food tastes authentic and good and really enjoy ready anytime I go there. I usually just get general tso chicken or some orange chicken and they always do a good job with the food.

Red 8 continues to be the best sushi in Saratoga Springs! I left a 5 star review 2 years ago, I deleted it so I could leave a new review. I’m happy to say Red 8 is still 5 stars! Red 8’s atmosphere is always light and welcoming, the staff are kind and accommodating. if you’re a local, they’ll remember their customers and treat you as friends. They remember my family doesn’t like the wasabi so they stopped serving it with the sushi we order, haha. That is dedication!
In a sea of repetitive restaurant chains, Red 8 stands out and I consider it a local gem. you’ll get a level of service here you simply can’t get with all the big, multi location restaurants popping up in Saratoga. treat the staff with kindness and patience and you will receive the same in return. Give it a try!
