We stopped into El Morelense in South Jordan for dinner. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing!!! We had the Alabre Al Pastor and it was so flavorful! This place will be going in the rotation!

The chorizo burrito was very flavorful. The salsas are all very spicy. Maybe offer a milder salsa too. Also the al pastor fries in a burrito would be cool and unique

I have been here 4 times. Each time the food and experience gets worse. The food quality is poor especially the carne asada. The pineapple pork is the best they have. But it is still over priced for what you get. I will be looking for a new street taco place. I will not be back. Not a good value, no longer delicious. 😭

Nice Mexican restaurant. Menu is somewhat different from most Mexican restaurants. Nice salsa bar. Tacos and tostadas come with guacamole and sour cream and you to it with items from the salsa bar. Worth trying out.

I ordered through DoorDash for delivery. My order was:
1 single Tinga Tostada – about $7.68
2 orders of two Tostadas each – $12.87 per order= $25.76

That’s a total of 5 Tostadas for around $36.27 before DoorDash delivery and service fees. Plus tip

When my order arrived, I only received 3 tinga Tostadas, one in each to-go box. I reported this to DoorDash, and they were kind enough to place the order again so I could get the missing items.

I also called the restaurant to clear things up. The lady who answered told me:
“I don’t know about your prior order, but I have one now that only says 1 single and 1 order of two.”
I explained that the math didn’t add up, if the two-Tostada order is $12.87 each, that’s about $25.76, plus $7.68 for the single, which matches my $36.27 subtotal. She just repeated, “I can only read 2 items.” she kept putting me on hold too.

When the second DoorDash delivery arrived, it was wrong again, the same items as before.

To make matters worse, when I finally tried the Tinga Tostada, it was disappointing. Tinga should have shredded chicken cooked with tomatoes, onions, and chipotle sauce. Instead, I got plain shredded chicken with some red sauce.

This was a frustrating and disappointing experience—both because of the wrong orders and the poor handling of the situation. The food itself didn’t live up to expectations either.

Best al pastor in Utah. I’ve been looking for al pastor like this ever since I lived in Mexico. They’ve got the traditional trompo where they sear the meat, and then slice and grill it and serve it with pineapple. It’s so well done. Perfect al pastor. Order the tacos or if you’re feeling hungry get el alambre.

This place is good! After discovering the Al pastor here I can’t get anything else. The guy behind the counter is as nice as can be and without fails goes over the top to make sure we have a great experience. Super good food and super nice people running it!
