Oh! Shabu Shabu & BBQ( Hot Pot)

Went there for valentines day, the price was great for the amount of food you can get. My wallet fell out of my diaper bag and they actually sent me a litter letting me know. I don't live in the area or they would have dropped it off. It was really kind of them.

PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORST PLACES TO EAT.
Meats had no flavor, ice cream was freeze burn and all the sauce bottles were empty. I am like what the heck you guys are charging almost 40$ a person and can’t provide fresh food. I threw up right after due to feeling sick. Please do not go.

The restaurant was fantastic. The seafood selection was excellent. The service was attentive, and it was nice that they had ice cream for dessert. The atmosphere was lovely as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. I have been to many of the hot pot and barbecue restaurants around the Wasatch Front, and this is one of the best.

Too expensive for the food items they serve here. There r few other hotpot restaurants in SLC,
way better than Shabu,

Almost had the place to ourselves besides one other table. Hot pot was good but missing many good sauces from a normal hotpot. The seafood was also extremely fishy.

Do NOT come to this restaurant! The quality of all the food is horrendous! The meat is nearly inedible, the hot pot ingredients are stale, the meatballs smell rotten, and many of the dishes were almost empty. The fruit was spoiled, and the service was terrible—we had to wait forever for the meat! Even with such awful service, we were still forced to pay at least an 18% service charge because we were a large group.”

Terrible restaurant!There was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant. We waited 30 minutes for our second round of meat, and by the time it arrived, it was all burned. The first round of meat was okay, but after that, the quality was awful. On top of that, we were required to pay an 18% tip because we were a party of seven.

Way better than I thought it would be! Went here to try out KBBQ in Salt Lake and was not disappointed. The price was really great too. I’m used to paying more for this quality. Definitely would recommend 10/10!

The food was sparse at the buffet and didn't look like it had been refreshed in a while. The best part of the food though was the egg rolls and the pot stickers.

This is my second hot pot experience. The first was so disappointing, I never planned to try another. This was worlds better! I could only have the coconut broth because of gluten intolerance, and that was a little weird at first, but in the end it was great, particularly since the other restaurant had only offered hot water. LOL
The veggies were great, as were the sauces I tried. Most things were labeled, which is very helpful. The staff we worked with were friendly and helpful.
