The Break Sports Grill

It used to be a good fun place to go and have fun with friends until there's been people that have left and now it sucks I was in there today 05/03/25 and we played some songs on the jukebox and noticed some got skipped so the bartender could listen to the song he played we heard the bartender saying it was tough s*it that he skipped our songs and then played the longest song he could find Hank and one other bartender with a man bun with brown hair that worked tonight sucks and have no customer service skills at all.We were a little upset at the whole situation but was fine until we heard him talking to other customers saying tough s*it that it was skipped and that he played the longest song he could find so he didn't have to deal with the other songs being played. 2 of my songs were skipped to play his song and I played the exact same 2 songs right after and they were played all the way through if they were skipped because they weren't "beats" like the bartenders said they could skip songs for they would have been skipped again then there were 2 more of my brothers songs that were skipped again to play a song he started dancing and singing to

The Break is a great place to sit back, relax a bit, enjoy a couple beers, and have good food.

I have had the chicken sandwich and the burnt ends mac & cheese here. While I could complain that the burnt ends were just a bit tough and could have used a bit more temperature over a longer period of time, both dishes were very good! The chicken sandwich was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor! The fries were cooked right and well seasoned! The mac & cheese was cooked al dente, and contained a sufficient amount of cheese and flavor.

I really like that you can split an order of mac & cheese amongst two people. This is great if neither person is very hungry.

Lastly, you have no shortage of beer options to choose from. The apricot beer is incredible!

But be warned! Because Utah has a chronic shortage of bars, do expect The Break to be crowded! This can be a buzzkill, especially for an introvert who likes their space, such as myself. This is why I like their patio seating on the second floor.

Went to the bar to get food. Once they realized I wanted food instead of just a drink, suddenly they wouldn’t serve me. The dumbest part is I was going to order both but if you ask for a menu at the bar, you can expect to be ignored until you leave.

This was a very positive experience for me! As I base my ratings on a horrible-perfect scale, 5 being 100% perfect in every way, a solid 4 star review is an impressive score. I wish I had taken a few pictures of the food and place. This bar is worth going out of your way for. Whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing. The food is incredible and prepared with a very professional touch and high quality ingredients. The Guinnesses I ordered arrived icy cold and poured as a Guinness aught to be from the tap. Very well executed. The environment is lively and fun but without overdoing it. Very modern and also quite comfortable and homely with excellent service to boot. Our waitress was thoughtful and attentive, even with having many tables to cover. The overall attitude of all staff I saw was very light, positive and professional.

I will be going back here and I will actively plan a trip to the area just to visit this bar again. They could easily charge more for everything and the experience you get here so the value is incredible.

Aaliyah and Bita handling the bar, they are pros. I came in, waited for my to-go order. I grabbed a drink and enjoyed my wait with the attractive TV playing sports and delicious options of IPAs. Grab my to-go order, and enjoyed the food at home. Definitely still warm.

Chill place I hung out at for a few hours waiting for a friend to wrap up work. The servers were chill as hell. And came by to refill waters and grab me another drink while I sat there for 3 hrs.

Grabbed the taco salad. It was awesome.

The prices are higher than I personally like $18 for the taco salad. But the drink prices were about average as everywhere else. Think my drinks were 7-8 each.

It was pretty noisy that night, when I asked the waitress if that was normal, even she said it was noisier. Probably wouldn't have cared if I was hanging with friends.

If I'm in the area again I'd probably stop back in.

I really like this place. The food is really good, the wait staff is always awesome. Their brunch is one of my favorites, and the atmosphere is just good. Thanks guys.
