Benji’s Bar-B-Que Shack

Benji and his team have created something special! Not only is the food great, but the hospitality is top notch. The brisket is a must-try. The meat is the most tender, succulent and flavorful in town. We also tried the chicken and waffles which were also excellent. Highly recommended!

Great find! If you love good barbecue and especially barbecue that feels like southern barbecue, try Benjis. This is Lonzo Liggins host of PBS Utah’s Roots, Race and Culture. Found this spot when I was looking for some barbecue with a side of greens. Well, I found the spot. Brisket was tender, pulled pork was flavorful. Mac and cheese and greens, mixed with black eyed peas, were phenomenal. Not a traditional restaurant, it’s upstairs in a bar area, but the atmosphere was fun and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

I recently had Benji's BBQ and had an amazing experience! The brisket was phenomenal, and I ate everything I ordered when I got home. The service was also super impressive. Brandon was friendly and attentive. Clearly, he is passionate about his food and the service he provides. Highly recommend!

I've only had these guy while they're posted outside a shop and every time it's been delicious and I always feel like I'm hanging with a bunch of friends. Just today I grabbed some grub and as I walked back to my car I dropped a box. There was no hesitation, I hear from the man at the pit that he's got another one for me! Hella chill ppl and wonderful food!

Good people, good food, great atmosphere.I haven't found a BBQ shaq that reminds me of the South where I grew up until I found these guys. Their brisket is THE best in the valley. You HAVE to give it a try! (And I worked for R&R and Pat's and others in the valley before I became a father)
