Had the catfish plate. Wow. Catfish was cooked perfectly. Cooked but moist. And the breading on the outside was just a thin crust so you could enjoy the fish itself. Collards had a terrific taste. Red beans were good. And the corn bread! Just a hint of butter and sweetness. The food didn't need any addition. Perfectly seasoned. I’m coming back with family. Friend got the shrimp and grits and loved it.
The most wonderful environment, owners and food! You feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. There is live music on saturdays and specials on Friday’s. The food was SO delicious, fresh and homemade. The perfect date night!
This was delicious. It was a great authentic expirience. I went with a small group from work and were greeted by the owner who was helpful and had a fun personality as well. This was a great find.
