The best tteokbokki around! The owner is so nice and helpful when ordering and describing the choices. If it's your first time I'd recommend rose one heat and rice noodles. I LOVE this place!

Great tasting food. Big portions. They don't skim on your meal and what goes in it. About $14 per person. Even their little side of fried seaweed is delish.

Not a lot is space in there, but I keep coming back for the Rose Tteokbokki because it’s AMAZING. It’s served so hot and fresh in a metal skillet and it’s the perfect mixture of spice, sweet, and warmth. Tteokbokki is soft and chewy, and the sausage, carrots, and onion that come with it in the sauce are fabulous. It’s also a huge portion, my husband and I typically just split one order

The customer service is super bad. I feel they just very nice with American. I have a happy day and want to try something but their attitude destroy my day.

Very good food, pretty quick. They brought stuff out at different times, so that was a small minus. The food was fresh, and the taste was quite enjoyable. I would definitely go back.

I was so excited to try this place and try tteok for the first time but the other reviewers are 100% correct, the staff person at the front was outright rude and made the experience really uncomfortable. I know the owner has seen these reviews and repeatedly mentions they’re taking action, but clearly they have not. All the reviews seem to be about the same person. Please address this! The food was incredible and I would love to be able to go back, but the staff issue really needs to be addressed.

I love that SLC has a 떡볶이 restaurant now! I’ve tried a few different things here, and my favorite is the rose 떡볶이. The food has a lot of flavor. I rated the service and atmosphere 4/5 because we got to the restaurant 45 mins before they closed, and they rushed and watched us, acting like they wanted us to leave. 20 minutes before they closed, they said we had to pay right then and that they were closed. Other people tried to come in and order, but they told the customers that they were closed even though they were open for another 20 minutes. The open hours on the window matched the hours listed on Google, so I’m not sure why they said that they were closed. I saw some other reviews that had the same experience as me, so maybe this is something to work on with the employees. The service was great the other 3 times I was there. I highly recommend this restaurant!

As someone that has very little experience with a lot of Asian food, but loves to try new things, I’d say this is a don’t miss. We had Rose Tteokbokki. I’m glad we decided to split it. The portion was very large. It was delicious A little sweet and a little spicy. The staff is friendly and great about explaining what you’re eating. Strawberry jubilee for dessert. You can’t go wrong checking this place out.

Food was good, however service wasn’t there. Server wasn’t rude, but def not friendly or inviting. It was our first time there and the server wasn’t really trying to help us out or orient us to how they operate. He also Didn’t check-in, didn’t offer refills (place is small so just refilled our own drinks) ….i’ma pass up on this place when I’m in town again. 👎🏾

I came today to eat, I went in and I didn't know how to order food. A waiter attends me and tells my girlfriend to sit down in a very rude way. We decided to eat inside anyway, but in the time we were there he didn't take care of us properly. Delicious food but terrible service. I noticed in other reviews that other people have complained about this guy.

Probably the closest ttekobokki to what we ate in south korea, but very expensive and oily. Helpful staff though! Worth a try.

I came yesterday,the server asked me to share the table with another customers,I was okay with that…but I came first but he dropped water and took order for the customers I shared the table with. He doesn’t care about me and my brother at all. If the people I shared the table don’t tell him to take order for me that I think he could walk away without taking my order.Never come back.
