Big Bites
If you are a mole lover, be prepared to fall in love with La Oaxaqueña.
I have family from Oaxaca and go years without seeing them, but having an order of enmoladas brings me so much homey comfort.
La Oaxaqueña is vibrant, consistent, and authentic; nothing but true to the Oaxaqueño culture.
I've had the mole, pupusas, and the tlayuda and enjoyed each of them.
I do ask for the enmoladas to be filled with beans instead of chicken for a vegetarian option. They also used chicken that had bone in the first few times I ordered them, and was a bit put off; the bean substitution keeps me satisfied without the bone digging.
My only real complaint with La Oaxaqueña is the restroom - it is clearly an afterthought. If I'm washing my hands before a meal, I'd like to believe the bathroom is as clean as the rest of the establishment; right now, it's not something I'd want to be eating out of. 🥲

My experience was bad. I waited more than 10 minutes and they never took my order. The restaurant was empty, I can't imagine when there are people. I went out. I went to another restaurant. And looking at the comments I don't understand why it has more than 4 stars. They are definitely not real.
