We come here all the time because the food is really good. Usually the service is not great but acceptable. You can't have refills on your drinks which are 4 bucks each. Which just makes me not want to order a drink.
I love the food at La Puente! Hadn't been in a year and really wanted to go. We went to the state street location. Atmosphere is odd here. The service that day was very mediocre. I felt like we had to beg for water refills. Chips and salsa are amazing. They used to be bottomless basically but now everything is extra. Best restaurant for homemade Mexican food. Was visiting Utah and had stopped here for lunch. Food was great and tasty. Service and atmosphere was excellent. Must visit and would definitely recommend.
