Randomly popped in after doing a quick google search of carnitas near me open now. I ended up ordering the Carne Asada Platillo and a Carnitas Sope. The Sope was much bigger then I thought it was going to be haha and had sooo much flavor the carnitas on it was amazing! Highly recommend the sope without a doubt please get it! Now for the carne asada plate I will also say it was spectacular! There was a lot of meat and the meat reminds me of the fresh marinated carne asada meat...
Read the excellent reviews and knew I had to try this place while visiting SLC. SO glad I did. We had the carne asada as well as the quesabirria taco combo plates.
The tacos were exceptional in terms of flavor as well as portion size. Never seen street tacos stuffed so full! Loved the rice and beans. Oh and the habanero salsa was amazing and 🔥🔥🔥. The owners were so kind. What a lovely business and amazing taco experience!!

The torta is one of the best sandwiches I've had in Utah. I went with carnitas, and it's juicy and flavorful while the bread stays fresh and doesn't get soggy. It is massive as well.
