Nice hole in the wall location with a number of food options. Overall the BBQ was a 3.5 out of 5. The ribs are tender as well as the pull pork. The brisket is also good but I think the fatty part of the brisket which I love was a little on the greasy side. Mac and cheese sauce is good and the bake beans are decent as well.

Spent $55 bucks and all the mac and cheese that we all hard under cooked noodles and hard edge noodles. Ribs were good. Coleslaw was good. Stay away from the noodles.

Saw that this bbq place got quite a few awards with good reviews so I went there today. The area where it’s located is kinda out of nowhere near slc downtown and I don’t know this place is inside a food hall. There were many restaurants in there and the amount of people there was also surprising. I went around 6:30 on Saturday and unfortunately a few things I want to try were already sold out (ribs, sliced brisket, chicken, and corn cake). Anyway, I order pretty much everything else: chopped brisket, turkey breast, sausage, pulled pork, and all the sides. Everything was very good. The brisket is flavorful and juicy. The sausage is full of flavor yet not too salty. The turkey breast is also a big surprise; it’s not tough and full of flavor. Pulled porn was good as well. All the sides were spot-on. No wonder they won many awards and sold out so early. My whole family enjoyed the meal. Will definitely be back to try those items I missed today!

Me and three friends stopped in and checked things out. They are from Santa Barbara, California. They were here visiting Utah. We found the place by the delicious smell in the air. We all were so impressed. The homemade coleslaw was over the top.
I will be back. The service was amazing.

Best brisket I ever had. Literally melts in your mouth. Ribs have the perfect smoky flavor and fall off the bone when picked up. Baked beans smoke flavor is just a bit much for me but overall still good

Im from Canada and everytime i travel, I try to get some BBQ. I've tried many places all around the Country and Salt City BBQ is by far the best BBQ in Utah. We had the lean and fatty brisket, OMG, the fatty had sooooo much flavor and the lean did not disappoint either. The turkey had an amazing smokey flavor and so tender. The BBQ sauce had a very nice sweet flavor but not over bearing on the sweet, just perfect. And the corn bread, OMG the best corn bread I've ever had, so fluffy and melt in your mouth. The owner was amazing and his staff as well. My buddy had the sausage and said it was the perfect blend of spices and cheese. The pork belly was so tender you don't even need teeth it'll just melt in your mouth. Give this place a try...IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!

This is what BBQ should be!

I'm quite picky about my BBQ and most Utah BBQ is average or just bad.

Brisket was a 9 out of 10
Pork Belly Burnt ends were 10 out of 10
Cheddar Kielbasa Sausages were 10 out of 10
Corn Cake 10 out of 10
Coleslaw 7 out of 10

Keep it up! Amazing food.

I have now been back to this restaurant five times. I've brought coworkers and they have all commented on just how good it is.

I will say, I think there needs to be more counterbalance options on the menu. Everything is so incredibly rich it would be nice to have better coleslaw or some kind of vegetable medley. Just something to help cut through the heaviness.

Just fantastic food. Next time I'll take pictures.

This is good BBQ. The brisket was full cut which I LOVE! The sausage was good and the ribs were my absolute FAVORITE. I did not even need sauce. The corn bread is more like corn cake but good and a must try. The baked beans were different but sweet with chili spice. The plate was all-around great and worth the price.
