Had the Pork Bbq Mac at the food truck today and it was $17 of disappointment … The mac and cheese was so savory and salty and overcooked and then they added the bland dry pork with white queso and it was supposed to have BBQ sauce apparently but mine tasted like and looked like there was zero sauce which made the Mac and Pork harder to eat. I was starving and couldn’t even finish mine. Service was fast and kind!!

Picked up the bbq brisket sandwich at the convention center today. Worth every penny. Generous helping of brisket but hey, add more and I’d be happier. More slaw would be great too, only because it’s great. No complaints here, hope to try more of what they offer.

We were passing through SLC for the firsttime in many years, and we managed to find them open at an indoor location today. With their championship competition background, we had high hopes. Pleased to say our group of 4 all enjoyed the brisket sandwiches and pulled pork nachos. Nice job Salt City!

This food truck is awesome. The food is delicious and fresh. The nachos are some of the best I’ve had. The white queso really makes a difference in flavor. The brisket sandwich is very tasty. The brisket is chopped which makes it juicy and flavorful. The pulled pork was delicious as well! The people working are very friendly and helpful. They said hello and asked if I had any questions. Definitely a place to visit again!

But this is where that changes I have eaten Salt City many times and it’s always been amazing!It’s a decorated competitor who wanted to bring his talents to the public. The owner Rusty eats drinks and sleeps BBQ! If you are not eating here you are missing out!
I had the rib, sausage, nachos, corn bread, and sweet potato pie at a recent event. There isn’t one thing I would say is under 4 stars. I loved asking Rusty what was the best thing on the truck and letting him pick my meal. The ribs were perfect no extra sauce needed. I always get the nachos becuAse you get such a good helping of food for an amazing price.Any time I see the truck I stop for a bite and a great conversation. If you see rusty tell him Yetti sent you.

I visited mid day, I have frequently visited many bbq joints and this was just plain delicious. I was going to buy the amazing sauce until I looked at the ingredients. Soy was #1 so if you don't care about the that then you will love it.

At this point, they went above and beyond to prove that I was, in fact, valued as a customer, and quality service is highly important to them. I will absolutely be returning in the future! Strong work guys!
