“Great food, excellent staff! Parking is a bit hectic at times but that's not their fault. They even serve chiles rellenos and pacayas on certain days although I cannot remember which day that is ? The breakfast is amazing and comes out quick“

“This place was a wonderful surprise! I popped in randomly and ordered a papusa and a combo plate and they did NOT disappoint. The food was VERY inexpensive and VERY good! My BF is 6'5, a big boy, he eats a lot. All we ordered was ONE combo plate and ONE papusa and not only did that fill us both up but we did Not finish our food and had lots leftover :)I brought the left overs home, fried some tortillas and threw all the leftovers in some tortillas and we had dinner for the night, and it was just as good the second time :) This place is a total gem, I had a good feeling as soon as I walked in and saw all the ladies whisking and working away on the food. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back :) Great job ladies!!“

“We came for an early dinner, we were promplty greeted and seated. They have both Spanish and mostly English menu's, but they have good descriptive pictures to help you out with your order if you are not sure what you are ordering.
We ordered a water and Horchata, and then we both ordered the Combo mix plate, one with pollo and the other with carne asada. Both were absolutely delicious and good sized, so we both got a togo box to eat the rest at a later time.
Good people, good service, and definitely worth going back to.“

“I love their huaraches. They are stuffed like a pupusa and super yummy. You don't need more than one. Very generous. I also got a revuelta pupusa but didn't enjoyed it as much. A little too thick for my liking and also needed more chicharrón. Overall a great place to grab a bite.“

“I almost took it as vacant, good thing I stopped in to this hidden gem!The service was fast, and the pupusas were about 6" in diameter. Way more food than I expected. So good. The place was so inviting and I found myself dancing in my chair to the music.I love it.I want to come back to explore the menu
Vegetarian options: Loroco Y Queso pupusas are made with a flowering vine vegetable and cheese. It's tasty. Calabeza y Queso is a squash and cheese option. They also have Yucca on the menu. That's just to start. I am sure you can find a good vegetarian option“

“As vegans, it can be tricky to go into a restaurant without any vegan options on the menu. But the young man at the front counter was very nice, and after I explained our dietary restrictions in Spanish, he helped us order some delicious food. The Salvadoran slaw and salsa that he brought were a perfect addition to the meal. The food in the photo doesn’t look great, because we had already dug in it, but it was delicious! And everyone was so nice. I highly recommend.
Vegetarian options: There was nothing vegan on the menu, but several vegetarian options. They were able to make those options vegan for us by taking out the cheese and cream.
Dietary restrictions: Our family is vegan and has allergies. I was able to speak to the young man at the front desk, in Spanish, and explained those to him, and they made us specialty pupusas with beans, but no cheese and made us the plantains and beans, again with no dairy. It was delicious, and wonderful that they understood and were able to make Things that fit our needs, even though they were slight alterations from the menu.“

“If you are a mole lover, be prepared to fall in love with La Oaxaqueña.
I have family from Oaxaca and go years without seeing them, but having an order of enmoladas brings me so much homey comfort.
La Oaxaqueña is vibrant, consistent, and authentic; nothing but true to the Oaxaqueño culture.
I've had the mole, pupusas, and the tlayuda and enjoyed each of them.
I do ask for the enmoladas to be filled with beans instead of chicken for a vegetarian option. They also used chicken that had bone in the first few times I ordered them, and was a bit put off; the bean substitution keeps me satisfied without the bone digging.
My only real complaint with La Oaxaqueña is the restroom - it is clearly an afterthought. If I'm washing my hands before a meal, I'd like to believe the bathroom is as clean as the rest of the establishment; right now, it's not something I'd want to be eating out of. 🥲“
