Villaggio Pizzeria

Up until now, the best pizza I've ever had in my life was 36 years ago in a small Italian village whose name I don't remember. I dare say that Villaggio Pizzeria just beat them for 1st place! I'm sauce snob, and this is truly perfection. My mind is actually blown right now!
Pictured here is Nonna's Lasagna Pie with sausage on one side. It was definitely worth the extra 30 minutes of driving from our hotel and back, rather than grabbing pizza from one of the places within walking distance. My husband and I will definitely be back for more before we leave town in a few days. I'm sorry we don't live closer, because we would definitely be regular customers.

Amazing pizza. Great sauce and fresh toppings. Friendly staff!

Extremely overpriced. We paid $65 for two pizzas. The staff were incredibly rude and disrespectful from the moment we walked in. One employee even yelled at us for bringing a water bottle inside. The food was fine, but the poor customer service completely ruined the experience. We felt unwelcome and won’t be returning.

Hands down, the best pizza in Utah!! From the moment you walk in, you can smell the deliciousness you’re about to eat. My family went for lunch and we started with the cheese bread (to which we were told “you won’t be disappointed”), and after the first bite, we were hooked. Our family of 5 ordered a large pizza that we ate there, and we loved it so much, we ordered the Pizza Bianca to go for dinner. What made the experience even better was talking with Ricci, a Bronx native whose family has been making pizzas for over 90 years, ever since they immigrated from Italy 🤯. Ricci came to Utah and loved it so much that he stayed. We are lucky to have you Ricci, and your AMAZING food. Go treat yourself at Villaggio Pizzeria….you won’t be disappointed 😏.

This is the best pizza I've ever had since leaving Philadelphia 24 years ago. I got a slice of regular and pepperoni and they were both flavorful, the cheese was so fresh, the sauce was perfect and compliments wonderfully. The crust was perfect. If you don't like this pizza, you shouldn't eat out anymore because you are dead inside. Great job yous guys.

coming from brooklyn, this is the only spot I hit in slc.. meatball, chicken parm, slices, you can’t go wrong. proper ny pizza joint out here in the valley
