“This place was great! We arrived early, at 4.30, and hit the half off appetizers. Ordered the hummus and the whipped feta. The plates were the same (as far as bread and veggies go) but I like the whipped feta better. Loved the Toblerone and espresso martini. Both were amazing. We split the rainbow trout because we knew we'd be full after 2 appetizers. Rainbow trout was so good too! I will say, we thought about the meatloaf and then saw it come out on the table next to us. It looked absolutely amazing and they could not stop raving about it!“

“WOW!!! 5 STARS!!! Jamie Jolly, our waitress, was so friendly, engaging, and spot on with her recommendations! I do not like horseradish sauce, but she talked me into the beef tenderloin and said the chef creams it and adds other layers of flavor. It was phenomenal! Best meal I’ve had in years! Jamie was wonderful and her other menu suggestions were impeccable and we had the most wonderful evening out on that patio in the early evening! I felt the price point was very reasonable for this absolutely gourmet dinner!“

They've really created a beautiful atmosphere at Black Sage. We especially liked the zucchini blossom fritters and the pickled beet devil eggs. Would definitely recommend it to friends!“
