Don Pedro's Family Mexican Restaraunt

Our server, Monica is amazing!!! I have dined here many times and is one of our favorites. Today was terrible!! I ordered Chile Verde and rice. The rice was very good but the Verde incredibly salty. I offered to pay for the rice, that I ate, and have the Verde taken off. Another woman came out saying they were only taking 25% off, that it wasn't salty, and I had eaten half of it. Her approach was unprofessional and confrontational. She then proceeded to talk to my company, even though I asked her to talk to me, I was ignored. I asked her multiple times to leave our table and she then threatened to kick me out, embarrassing my companions. I was not asking for a free meal, simple to pay for what I did eat. It could have been handled differently, instead She choose to be disrespectful. Shame on her behavior. I am truly sorry to put the server, or anyone else witnessing this happening, uncomfortable. That was not my intent. I had been in the restaurant industry for 25+ years and taught hospitality to many restaurants. Perhaps a hospitality course can teach her something. The service is awesome!! Even had us roll our r's lol. The chorizo was over the top with awesome flavor and the rice and beans compliment that. The guacamole was crazy good. The ambience here kinda boosts that cultural or traditional feeling here at Don Pedro's. Please take a visit!!

My family and I had a rather disappointing dining experience on Cinco de Mayo. Overall, I can’t say I recommend Don Pedro’s (Green Valley location). It was our first and last time dining here. The general atmosphere was very dull, the friendliest person was the hostess who seated us, and the food could not have been more disappointing (with exception of one entree).

Firstly, our server did not introduce herself nor ask us what we wanted to drink. She only asked us if we were ready to order food, and we had already been sitting for nearly 10 minutes. We chose to stick with the provided waters, and I opted for the Hummer margarita. The drink itself was tasty and refreshing, however, I’m very disappointed in how long it took to receive it. It took at least 15 minutes and the restaurant was not busy. Our food came out just a few minutes later.

The carne asada burrito was great! I enjoyed the overall flavor profile. The nearly $20 taco combo (carne asada and carnitas) was… genuinely disturbing. The meat was painfully dry and flavorless - - certainly left a lot to desire. Easily the worst restaurant tacos we have ever had. The cheese quesadilla was also disappointing, as it was bland and there was minimal cheese added to it. Dare I say, it was a paper thin amount.

Sadly, Don Pedro’s missed the mark on both food quality and customer experience. For a fraction of the price, we very well would have been better off eating Taco Bell for dinner. At least then we would expect mediocre tacos and faster service.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Smells like bleach, food poor, margaritas horrible and the service was worse. The server just throws the food on the table and leaves, disappears forever which ended up being a good thing. Not sure how this place stays in business but oh well. We will never be back.

Bad service have to be really carefully once you pay because they over charge dont recoment it at all

Food was amazing. A little pricey compared to what I’m used to. Staff were very friendly just a little slow to come by the table after seated. Food was out quick and it was hot.

We love to go to Don Pedro's, especially when there are a lot of people in town; they just don't know about it yet. Good food and great service. I usually like to get the enchiladas a la crema, but they have a lot of other great food.
