Everything about the Painted Pony is special. We went for dinner for a special occasion, my birthday. It is on the pricy side but the food is exceptional; however, as with most restaurants the price for drinks (alcohol) is inflated. This is not unique to the Painted Pony. Recommend going for lunch if you are on a budget. We had the roasted brussel sprouts and baked Brie for apps (excellent), the bone-in pork chop, the tenderloin and chestnut ravioli were our entrees. All fantastic....
Service was not up to par! Food servicer was not very good, as she seemed to be new to the Painted Pony. We ate there last month and she was not very good compared to last month. We do not recommend her as a food server. Don't know if we'll be back if she's working there.
A nice night out for us. We enjoy visiting the Painted Pony. It has the most pleasant atmosphere of any dining establishment in the area and the food is always good. If you are wondering about the Bacon Wrapped Duck just do it! I must say it was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully.
