I should preface this review with the statement that our server was absolutely wonderful. I probably should have complained at the table, but then I found out that the manager had broken her leg rock climbing, was in surgery, and the manager on Thanksgiving was a pinch hitting supervisor for the day. Still, the Thanksgiving Dinner shouldn't have been as bad as it was. I honestly wish I had taken a picture of it, because the school Thanksgiving dinner served on Tuesday looked better. My overall recommendation is if you are looking for Turkey on Thanksgiving don't go to the Rib and Chop house. Plates of Prime Rib passed us, beef products, salads and they looked good, but the Thanksgiving dinner was dreadful. To their credit, the meat was juicy- that will be my only positive statement. That was good because they gave us perhaps three tablespoons of very thin gravy. That was on the bottom of the plate swooshed across like a brown river. On top of that floated the four pieces of very white turkey. I should mention that the plate was white and square- very lunch tray like. If it had been made of Styrofoam it would have just been the chef's kiss to the look of this food. Adjacent to the turkey was a small ice cream scoop of stuffing- perhaps it weighed maybe an ounce? Next to that was two ice cream scoops of potatoes- no butter, no salt, no pepper- just mashed potato. (Remember the gravy is on the bottom of the plate so it's under the potatoes) Next to that was a glop of creamed spinach that looked like something my dog throws up. That was the only color on the plate at all, save the brown gravy smear, and I can't forget the roll. It was extremely small and shriveled- as if someone had left the poor thing on the counter overnight. This poor little thing- about one inch by two inches- was impossible to break in half, but that was okay because there was no butter provided. I did ask for butter and they brought me a little dish of frozen butter shards. I made the mistake of trying to flavor my potatoes with them- big mistake because the potatoes just became little blocks of frozen potato. Spreading the butter on my roll was impossible, so they just sat atop as I crunched into the bread (that wasn't toasted.) Now, the entire restaurant was freezing. People were leaving and coming back in with their winter coats to eat inside. I mention this because the first bite of food was warm, but the restaurant was so cold that by the second bite all the food was refrigerated. Granted, we were there at four o'clock, but honestly someone should have realized there was a problem when people were wearing gloves to eat. We were seated under the air conditioner that was going at top speed. We did ask to move to a less cold location, and they told us we couldn't because the seating was pre-determined and shifting was not allowed without manager approval. It turned out that the table we had suggested was soon filled with an elderly couple who bundled up in their coats including scarves, so I don't think it would have mattered in retrospect. It's a shame. My mother and I decided to go to the Rib and Chop House because we were having a small Thanksgiving, with the rest of the family at their in-laws this year. We wanted a nice sit down meal rather than cook a big Thanksgiving for two. We specifically chose not to go to Chuck-a-Rama because we wanted the fine dining experience. We'd read reviews that it was a good restaurant but apparently unless it is red meat, I'd take a hard pass.

We were ignored for far too long. Gave us time to look online for a better restaurant. We found a great one. The place wasn’t busy but we sat there for over 15 minutes without anyone coming up to us. We ate there last time in town. The food is average. This town has much better to offer.

TLDR: Rocky start but we ended up having a great time. Recommended. Thursday night at about 6pm. It was getting busy so we opted for open seating in the bar. The maitre d' noticed our table wobbling and immediately fixed it. Points: 1 The bartender came over to take our drink order. We're water people so no alcohol. Then she got pretty slammed at the bar and we were left waiting for a good 10-15 min to order food. Points: -1 The manager noticed that we still had menus on the table and apologized profusely. Had a waitress to us immediately. Points: 1 We got appetizers. The manager offered them for free and apologized again for the wait. Points: 1 Food came out quickly. Ribs were good. Salad fresh. Shrimp breaded, but fine. Overall, the quality was as one would expect from a chain like this. Points: 0 The fact that management was doing thier actual job by keeping tabs on the customers is what did it for me. They recognized two problems and immediately intervened to solve them. Points: 5 I'd eat here again.

We came here for dinner while on vacation. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and responsive. We had the fish and chips which were deep fried very dark brown and small in size. Also had the pasta shrimp which was good but the shrimp was overcooked and tough. We got carrot cake to go and it was good. Overall a bit of a disappointment.

Nice atmosphere, excellent server. Cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. We had the snapper and the salmon and they were great. Really good Caesar salad, good gumbo, too!

My husband and I went for dinner the evening we arrived in St George. We were both very hungry as we were on EST and hadn’t eaten since breakfast. Our waitress, Mylene, was great! Wonderful service. My husband had the ribs and they were good but we both agreed my meal was better. I had the prime rib and it was about the best I’ve ever had. And we each had a baked potato which was huge and perfectly cooked. Very good experience!

We had a great meal experience at this restaurant; really fresh and succulent shrimp as an appetizer (entree) followed by one of the best steaks we have had for quite a while and ending with a superb cream brulee. Our stay was enhanced by a very attentive and delightful Nichole who helped not only with our order but general tourist information. Would strongly recommend.

Everything was great. Only complaint was people sat after us got their food well before us. The food was very fresh and not salty.

If you want marginal food and service, this is your place. Had to ask for water and silverware multiple times. And come on, what's with the paper table cloths that they write their name on? How about just a wood table top and we look at their name tag... Low end experience with too high a price.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience deserves it. Our bartender wasn’t just good—she was LEGENDARY. From the moment I sat down, Mindy had that perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. Drinks? Flawless. Service? Fast, attentive, and genuinely warm.
But then it happened. The zombie invasion.
Most bartenders can shake a cocktail, but how many can save an entire restaurant from the walking dead? Mindy didn’t panic. She didn’t flinch. She grabbed a bar spoon like it was Excalibur, rallied the staff and customers, and turned what could’ve been the end of humanity into the best happy hour I’ve ever attended. Not only did she keep the drinks flowing, she kept us alive.

If you’re looking for the best service of your life—and a bartender who can hold her own during the apocalypse, go see Mindy. This is your spot. I’d give her 10 stars if I could.

Went here for dinner. Kaylee was fantastic! The food was good too. Got the pork chop with garlic mash potatoes the potato’s were somehow sweet so not my preference. Had the bison chili and that was great. Wife had the pesto chicken pasta that was good but needed a touch of parm. Had carrot cake for dessert it was warmed which I really enjoyed. The frosting was like you would get on a cinnamon roll with it warm nice and gooey. Didn’t think I would like it but it just works. Maybe no drizzle next time for us made it a bit too sweet. In short food is good, Kaylee was excellent.
