Four of us are on vacation in southwest Utah. Spending a few days in St George. We found Ernesto’s by chance. Although they were very busy at the time they underpromised and overdelivered. The service was great and the food was delicious. We’re going to tell everybody and we’ll be back the next time we’re in the area.

Las Palmas | Authentic Mexican Food is a very good small hole-in-the-wall local Hispanic restaurant. It is a dang good place for Mexican food. The food is fresh and flavorful. Everything is absolutely delicious and well priced. The breakfast burritos are delicious, filling and reasonably priced. A carne asada burrito and an extra carnitas taco are recommended, with big portions. The chilaquiles are to die for. All salsas are so so good. The salsa bar has everything from mild to pretty spicy, with limes, cucumber, radishes, and carrot/jalapeños, and is well stocked and clean. Indoor is no frills, as it is part of the gas station, but everything was clean with plenty of open tables. There is nice seating indoor and outdoor. Staff is friendly and keep the place nice and clean. The employees are also so kind. This spot nailed it for authentic Mexican food.
