I've tried all the pizza joints in town, hands down this is the place for wood fired Neapolitan style pizza in St George
Chris and the team at Sandtown do it right!!! Awesome and friendly service, great atmosphere, high quality process and ingredients. I found my new pizza joint in St George.

My passion for Neapolitan style pizza started 5 years ago in my backyard and has ruined me for ordinary pizza. I am always on the hunt to find a joint that matches the attention to detail that it takes to turn out a good pie. 3 day fridge fermented dough starting with a poolish, top quality and appropriate ingredients, stone/brick over to cook hot and quick for that authentic soft/crunchy/chewy/charred Neapolitan style crust.

Chris, thanks for chatting it up with me at the counter while I ate lunch, I love a good conversation with a pizza nerd. Congrats man, you guys are doing it right. I wish you best of luck and hope to have your place around for a very long time.

Finally! For those of us that have had to drive up to Cedar city for top-tier pizza now have a St. George option . Tastes phenomenal fresh, holds up as a cold option the next day, the crust is amazing by itself, the toppings are flavorful and clearly premier. And the price is decent. I have eaten in and taken away and great experiences with both.

THIS PLACE!!!! is LITTTTTT!!! I love the vibes!! The workers were so nice they literally did backflips for us!!! Well like a figurative backflip. The seasonal apples and sage pizza changed my life it was soooo fire!!! They also had a live dj. (Dj was lit af) I never wanna leave!! Brandon, Avery, Aiden, and Beecher were all so generously kind. They all inspired us to leave the restaurant with better perspectives on life, we will be going into each and everyday with so much more joy. Sand town pizza??? More like hands down (the best pizza in) town!!! WE WILL BE BACK.

Super mid pizza, sad had high hopes but more mediocre. The third star is only for some novel flavors and creating a cool place.

Such a great wood fire pizza. The dough is out of this world. Don’t miss the wings or the peanut butter pie (so good that we ordered one for Thanksgiving).

Not a huge fan of the loud music vibe they have going on. It’s hard to hear each other and the staff. If you have littles that don’t love the noise, just grab a to go order. The food isn’t worth missing out on.

I was really excited to try this place. To say I was very disappointed is an understatement. Pizza was very blah, and they charge you $1.00 for a side of ranch that is only 1/2 full and a very small size. I’m happy to pay for it, but at least fill the tiny cup up. We won’t be back unfortunately.

Pizzas were funky and not very good. The oven-fired part was good. The atmosphere is VERY loud as they had a DJ (which was weird for such a small place) and the music was cranked! The service was friendly but very slow. It took over 30 minutes to get our pizzas.

I was only stopping through town, but I'm glad I did. Their Verde pizza was so delicious. What shocked me most was how good the salad was! I DEVOURED IT!

You can tell the chef takes pride in his work. I'm excited to stop in again on my way back through town.

Uncertain why this place has such high reviews. We love wood fire pizza and we excited to eat here.
Pizza would be so much better if it was cooked better. We ordered four, and each one was burnt, black charred bottom, but spots of the pizza were still doughy (especially where the toppings were). The waiter did discount the pizza ($2), as an attempt to make it right.
The fennel sausage is good, but again, brunt and soggy.
The atmosphere is geared towards people in their 20's with loud music, vulgar pictures up, etc.
Undecided if we will try it again.

Kid-friendliness: $10 cheese or pepperoni pizza, comes came with grapes.

Favorite new pizza place in St George! Wood fired oven at 900+ degrees cooks 'em quick & gives the crust a perfect crunch. Many ingredients are locally sourced & the seasonal menu truly gives a new twist on pizza. The wings are amazing & the salads are works of art! Chris & his crew of locals went to Snow Canyon HS & have a great story. Harrison was outstanding. Can't wait to try their Friday ribeye.
