What a beautiful place to get a bite to eat and have a rest after hiking . Travis suggested the cranberry lemonade and it did not disappoint. I split the bison burger and beet salad with my daughter and they were both delicious. It was nice nice the kitchen split it for us. My husband had the other burger on the menu and he said it was very good. Service was great thanks Travis

We had the pleasure of staying at Sundance and wanted to eat dinner at the Foundry Grill one night during our stay. We made a reservation and showed up on time. Unfortunately, after we were seated, the service was horrible. Our waitress didn't show up at our table for almost 15 minutes before she showed up to ask for our order. We placed our drink and food order and she disappeared for another 15 minutes. When she returned with my husband's Irish Coffee, she asked if he wanted Bailey's to go with it - he responded yes and then she disappeared for another 10 minutes to get it. He sat around while his coffee cooled, wondering why she didn't ask this question when he ordered his coffee. After she finally returned, we didn't see her again until we finished our food and were, once again, waiting for her to return. Mind you, there were two tables that she was waiting on and we were one of them. Ultimately, we spent about 75% of our time at the restaurant waiting for the waitress and 25% enjoying our meal. For the cost of the drinks ($15-20 each) and the food ($20 for each appetizer), we expected FAR better service. It was very disappointing.

Hard to give food a two because our appetizer, Dirty Fries, was an 11 out of 10. Among the best fries plates in Utah. But when I received my Ribeye which should have been medium rare, it was medium well and the cut was a bit on the thin side with a grainy and dry texture. The scallop potatoes were disappointing as well. They didn’t have enough sauce and lacked salt. My wife had the Halibut entree and it was also an underwhelming dish. The fries really set a high bar. We believed we were going to have a 5 star meal, but overall our entrees seemed quite average in their execution. Our server was still great, but it seemed like there wasn’t a manager on duty because nobody checked in with us to see how things were going.

My wife and I drove up to Sundance for my birthday to see the fall leaves and then stopped at the Foundry Grill for Lunch. It was the first time eating there, and I have to say it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The search on the burger was amazing and just a little pink in the middle. We will definitely come back, and I will probably get the burger again.

Had a great experience, meal was great, waiter was amazing! I went to pay and out found out that the gift card I purchased for my dad was empty. I contacted Michael and he said he could refund me the amount paid for the gift card because it was an error but he couldn’t refund my out of pocket expense to leave the restaurant that day. I was fine with that because I love the Foundry Grill and planned to return. Michael then ghosted me via email, I left a voicemail no return call. I am disappointed in this management and won’t be going back because of it.
