“This place is a hidden secret in Sandy. When my "go to" Chinese restaurant in Sandy closed after many years, I felt lost and was convinced I would never find another that met all my likes. That was until I stumbled upon Cafe Ahn Hong. Previous restaurants at this location did not have great reputations but don't let that deter you! I guarantee you there is not a dish here that you won't fall in love with. And the noodles are handmade!“

“This the best Chinese Restaurant in SLC for me, when it comes to food, cost, and value of food they give you. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken combo, Moo goo gai Pan, Black Bean Chicken. All was great and quantity of food is kind place you gonna share with each other.“

“On a recent trip to Salt Lake City, we visited Chinatown because we always have to eat chinese food wherever we go. Out of all the restaurants available in Salt Lake's Chinatown Center, we picked this restaurant because the menu had a variety, in addition to having dim sum. We were not sure what to expect since you couldn't judge a restaurant by its cover! Inside has a dated decor, a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. We ordered some dim sum, beef chow fun, and shrimp egg foo young (even though I'm Chinese, I love egg foo young)!! The portion was generous. The food was authentic, fresh, and delicious. We also got some buns to go. AND best of all, you can't beat the price!! If we are ever in Utah again, we will definitely come back.“

“So this place has been around for a long time and I have a greater appreciation for it. They still do the classic carts on the weekends and you can also get dim sum during the off times as well along with other dishes. It’s a classic spot that serves all the traditional dim sum items along with some more selections. My brothers really like the Honey Walnut Shrimp and is a great item to share. Service is much better than what I remember and am glad that this place still exists! Parking is limited, but there are plenty of tables. One of the go to spot to hose an Asian wedding in Salt Lake! Pretty standard ambiance that is open.“
