“I've driven by dozens of times and always wanted to stop in. I finally got the opportunity to about a month ago. I had an idea of what I wanted, but as soon as I walked in I could NOT decide. I asked what the most frequently ordered meal was and walked out with Spam Loco Moco (first time trying it!). Best Decision EVER! The mac salad was a great side and compliment to the gravy. Super sweet workers, too!!“

“Nice little bbq spot with big portions at a good price. I ordered the mini meal which was plenty of food, highly recommend. You'll get a buzzer for when the food is ready.
They have drinks at the counter but you can't see that they have a soda fountain around the corner so just know you have those options as well.
They will ask you what sauces you like but there isn't a menu for it so they will tell you but they have: siracha, spicy mayo, soy sauce, teriyaki and what seems like a soy based BBQ sauce“

“This is the first poke spot I’ve ever seen in a Walmart. I always have to grab my poke bowl and tai tea with boba. There food and service is always good. I definitely recommend this place. 😊❤️“

“As I always do at every poke place I've been to, I created my own bowl. While they were scooping the protein/fish, I was disappointed. The scoops were very small, like 2 to 3 pieces of fish per scoop. However, I was very happy with the finished product! After diving into my bowl did then I understand why the scoops were so small. It was because the fish cuts were much bigger than usual! Each piece of sashimi was quite large. I was very happy they had kale noodles as a base. All in all, yummy food and good experience. Servers were good, place was clean.“

“I had the Katsu Chicken and Shrimp Tempura in a regular plate. The katsu is the best I've had from a Hawaiian-style restaurant. It pairs well with the katsu or teriyaki sauce. The shrimp is okay, but lacks any seasoning and I wouldn't order again. It's definitely not worth the extra charge (even if it's only $.50). The rice is unseasoned and needs to be drenched in teriyaki sauce. The mac salad is solid. The Spam Musubi is pretty good, especially if you've never had it, and it's filling for the price. I don't know what strangle-hold Red Creme Soda has on me, but I deem it a highly positive sign that they carry it here.

This location just had its grand opening. It replaced the Arby's that had been around for decades. The service is friendly and helpful, and the speed and efficiency will increase as they train their new employees. They've got a drive thru to more rapidly satisfy your Hawaiian-food cravings. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of Hawaiian food, but this is a good Hawaiian restaurant, and I'll eat here again.“

“I have been to Side of Aloha 4 times now and have had the great luck of having Chelsea as our server. She is the most personable, friendly, and caring server I have had in years. The food is always great, portions for the prices are on point, and when Kyle sings live, you can't help but feel the island vibes. Do yourself a favor and go to Side of Aloha now.“

“See update below too: I ordered the plate of short ribs. My daughter did a pick up. What I got was completely inedible flank steak w bone, and It was like rubber. I am very disappointed. The plate cost $23 what a waste of money.

Delicious food with amazing flavor! I ordered the 2-plate with Katsu Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken—both were tender and had great flavor. The portion sizes were generous (maybe they could tell I came hungry!). The service was top-notch, and the owner was very personable and friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Hawaiian food. I’ll definitely be coming back often! 🌺🍽️“

“This place is immediately south of the Chinatown Plaza, turn west at the Arby’s and this place shares a parking lot with Arby’s.

I got the Double Lu plate for $15 and the Lu was good- delicately seasoned and not overly salty. I was a little dubious about getting the taro as my side dish since the Tongan way to cook taro makes it mushy and pasty, but the girl told me it had only been in the steamer for an hour, and it ended up pretty firm. If you go there later in the day you might opt for the banana.

I read the complaints about the service but both women working there were polite and prompt to respond to me. No issues. The service vibe is kind of like back in the islands, where somehow it feels like the restaurant is doing you a favor by providing food to you, and you are grateful to get it. Just made the experience more authentic.“

“I am so impressed with Mo’bettahs on 5300 south redwood road. I have had nothing but respect shown to me there. The food is always great and the people are so kind. I don’t usually tip at a place that I come into to pick up my order, because I don’t know what the quality of the food will be. Mo’bettahs is one of the places I will tip at because I know I am going to get great food and service. If you are craving Hawaiian go to Mo’ Bettahs.“

“This restaurant is run by the warmest man, Stevie. The food is the best Hawaiian I’ve had. The meats are all so tender and seasoned to perfection. The sides are delicious, too! The portions are huge, and the prices are great! A fun island vibe with the music and decor makes this a good spot to grab yummy grub!“

“I travel to Utah for work and I can tell you that this is probably the best bang for your buck. The amount of meat that they give you and the quality of food is probably our favorite when it comes to fast food type restaurants. “We went to Why KiKi for a bachelorette party and it was the funnest time! They were personable with our bride and put on such a fun show! The food was great at a great price and the drinks were so fun! Afterwards, we went down to the silent disco (price included with our ticket) which was such a fun experience! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun girls night!“

“Really good standard Rumbi food. And the restaurant was clean. Though it was a little strange how much one of the workers kept coming over to our table and cleaning things up as we were just trying to talk ( in a group of about 8 of us). Alsmost felt like she was trying to get us to leave, but we had not been there super long. And the place was mostly empty. So maybe she was just trying to be attentive. Not sure, but it kept messing with our ability to just relax and have a nice conversation over our meal.“
