“Today, July 6, 2024 I am celebrating my nine year at The University of Utah HEALTH as a Health Care Assistant. I am here to celebrate by myself because my family was attended our relatives wedding in Ohio. This is my first time to get in The American Burgers. The services rendered was great and at the same time the food was great. My son Jonel recommended me this American Burgers for a long time, finally I am here now for celebrating my nine years at The University of Utah HEALTH. Great place to be ...........“

“Most of the dishes can be made vegetarian and probably vegan. The staff were nice and the food was tasty. I would recommend this place to meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. I got the chow mein and got tofu with it. They had 4 spice levels from mild to Thai spicy and my partner ordered Thai spicy while I ordered the third spice level; unfortunately the spice levels were not accurate and we both agreed neither were that spicy and so I wish they had done more accurate spice levels. Portion sizes were decent. The service was quick and we got our meals in no time. Overall happy with our experience.“

We were a little skeptical to come based off some reviews, but we had a great meal. Our server was great, but it’s true that some other staff members did NOT seem happy to be working. ? My husband got the got the ribeye steak and they cooked it perfectly. I had the French dip and it was good, just good. Nothing more and nothing less. However, our favorite thing from our meal was the chips and salsa. We got the chips and queso, and it came with a small side of salsa too. I had to ask if they make it in house or where they get it from because I needed some to take home. They totally make it in house, so we bought a cup to take home with us. Overall good food, but the highlight was the chips and salsa.“

“We came for Mother's day, unfortunately they didn't have their 50% off pricing because of the holiday, but the food was great, restraunt was clean, the only thing that was off was how long it took to get our sushi rolls out. Appetizers and drinks were out rather quickly, but it took a good 20 or so minutes for the sushi rolls. They didn't have much for kids and no egg drop soup. They had really amazing egg rolls, the kids loved the edemame beans, the tempera shrimp and veggies were good but they only give you one of each (sweet potato, zucchini, broccoli, and shrimp), and the pot stickers were super! I had the mars and sunshine rolls and they were really good.“

“Other reviews made me skeptical, but I was in the area and it was my first time at this location. Quality varies day to day at my usual go-to Cafe Rio location anyways. So I was impressed today when ordering in person, which may take longer, but the quality is always better and assures that the order is correct. Portion size was good, food was tasty, and service was nice. Kudos to all the staff working today... they were in the game.“
