Uncover Torrey's Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“With a tour group and our bus broke down in Torrey. Twenty of us poured in, on a Friday night at 6pm. Despite a small staff, they immediately shifted into high gear to accommodate all of us, as well as their usual patrons! The service was personable and friendly, and took care of all of our needs with a down home friendly approach. Lluvia and her son made sure to appear very glad to see us, although it was obvious we had overwhelmed their usual staffing needs. Food was fantastic, as were the drinks. If I’m ever back in Torrey, this is top of my list of where I’ll eat!“
“Great food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. The prices are fair for the amount of food! My partner and I ordered two dishes (one for each), but one would be enough for the two of us. If you are looking for a place to eat near Capitol Reef, we definetely recommend.“
“We stumbled on this gem of a restaurant while visiting Capitol Reef National Park. Dinner was so good the first night, we decided to return for our second night in Torrey. The chicken emoladas were sublime. We also tried the tongue tacos, flautas, California style dry burrito and tamales. Everything was delicious, fresh, delivered quickly and beautifully presented on the plates. The salsa that comes with the chips is fantastic and the red hot sauce has excellent kick. The first night 2 of us had the incredibly refreshing jamaica agua fresca and when we returned the second night, all 3 of us had to have it. It's served in individual flip top bottles with a pint glass of ice. I wish this was in our town!“
