Excellent food and service. The only slight negative is the quality of the orange juice which is a little watered down and probably came out of a commercial carton. Tuesday, my server was very friendly, efficient and pleasant.
Today my sister and I took my elderly father to lunch at Penny Ann’s. The hostess saw my sister drop off my Dad and I and immediately came to hold the door for him, noticed there were 3 of us and sat us close so he didn’t have to walk far. I was so impressed with her noticing our needs and going out of her way to accommodate us. Our server was spectacular and the food was delicious as always. I cannot even express how impressed I was with the service we received from everyone...
Not sure how this cafe gets such good reviews. I got the Chicken Fried Steak and it was one of the worst I’ve had. The gravy was more grey than white but the steak was real meat which was nice. As for the cubed potatoes, they appeared to be not homemade & they kind of tasted like dirt. I love the skin left on potatoes but for heck’s sake, you’ve got to scrub off the soil real good if you’re going to serve them that way. The eggs were great & cooked exactly how...
