Before I go too far, I should say that I am Anglo...not Filipino. That being said, this was absolutely the best Filipino food I have had since being on Mindanao Island (Philippines). Each dish brought back so many good memories.
Delicious, tasty and lots of it. The blood soup was Amazing! Everything we had: pork & chicken adobo, pancit, blood and beef soup, and 5 other items - all were simply delectable and oh so filling. The lumpia was delicate and delicious.
Yaye (yah - yay) owner, balances the sweet, sour and salty flavors unique to Filipino food, with a deft hand and greets you with friendly service and a genuine smile.
So glad my nurse/tech at the VA liver clinic told me about BFF Turon and Yaye's cooking. Simply amazing!

Good Filipino Restaurant near Salt Lake City, the dinogu-an and lechon Kawali was flavorful. No pork smell on the dinogu-an, the oil used to dry the Kawali was new, unlike most Filipino take out places in the East Coast where they rarely change the oil in the deep fryer. Their Sisig was also good but was prepared in a different way, has a creamy mayo like sauce. Not too spicy, for me I like my Sisig heavy on chili and a hint of calamansi. Turon is crispy and just enough sugar to sweeten it

If I had to complain about anything, I'd say maybe their AC should be turned on because it was a little warm.

Yes folks reading this, finally, somewhere where the food is delicious. By far, this is the best Filipino restaurant, beautiful atmosphere inside, food is delicious and the staff was amazing.

We ordered rice, dinaguan, longanisa, Turon, lumpia, ube tres leche, and if I had a bigger stomach, I would've ordered more! We can't wait to come back.

Plus I sang Karoake.

This place was good before, but why is it SO WATERY now! I ordered 3 entrees and ALL of them were so watery and super bland. Plus there was an older gentleman that was at the cash register and he could not total my order together. It took him a long time to charge me. They open at 11/12 but not all food is ready at that time. Very disappointed and probably not going back here anymore.

Unfriendly, not knowledgeable about the food. Very disappointing.

I've been going to Pinoy for over a year, and keep going back.
My favorites are the Sisig(Diced Pork), Pork Adobo, Chicken Adobo and Sinigang(Sour Soup).
There are a few food options here that many wouldn't be familiar with, but most of their menu is home cooked meat dishes, some with veggies.
If this sounds out of your comfort zone, you could safely pick any of the things I mentioned and be incredibly safe and happy with your order, and you can even request to sample a dish before ordering it.

Their menu can be a little confusing at first, as it's just a little piece of paper on top of their food warming area, but essentially you just order a combo 1-3, depending on how many main dishes you want, and choose rice and/or noodles to go with your main selections. The noodles are called Pansit, and are really good.

The price is incredibly reasonable for the quality and portions.
Don't be afraid to give this place a try. They recently renovated and it looks so much nicer inside, and the staff are amazing people.

I’m just trying to buy more turon. But the guy in the front told me that “that's the only turon we have.” Bro, I am just trying to buy more. Why don't you make an effort to ask if they can cook more? Not going back in here!! He was so rude!!

Maybe it was closing time. I arrived 6pm. No one available to help. Waited. The food was a salty. It was pretty good the Pork with Coconut milk was excellent. But the sisig. That was nothing like I've had. It was diced tough pork. Not crispy or fresh at all. I guess they prepare it very differently than I've had at many other restaurants.

It's a nice place but food wasn't delicious at all.
