LoLo Hawaiian BBQ - West Jordan

This is the best Lolo's location hands down. The team here understands the assignment no matter what you order. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous and consistent. I went in right when they opened and ordered 4 musubi w egg, rice, Mac salad, katsu, kalua, fried white fish, and the kalbi short ribs and everything was ono!🤙🏽They are also very welcoming every time I come in and take your order with a smile. Keep up the great work!

It’s was a delivery order and first time ever to order from this company, it wasn’t what I expected the taste to be, it tasted like yesterdays left over or it has been sitting in juice like shoyu chicken and Mac salad was like what you get in a tub at a supermarket. Disappointed customer. The plate was hot and looked pretty but the food did not taste Hawaiian

Food 10/10 in area with many options. If you are looking for good quality food and friendly staff . LoLo is the place to be. Definitely coming back !

Loved this place! The BBQ plates were delicious and filling, and the staff were super friendly. A great spot if you’re craving authentic Hawaiian flavors.

Staff friendly and helpful and that is the good part. Had the short ribs was was very fatty and chewy. Had the white fish which was heavily breaded and difficult to cut with the plastic utensils provided. Wife had the teriyaki chicken which was also very chewy and the bbq beef which was the only decent item worth eating. They provide coke products and nothing else. Unfortunately I have to say there are better places around for this type of food.

I tried the BBQ beef with macaroni salad, the Mac salad was decent but nothing special, the Beef had a good flavor but it was Chewy, Grisly and maybe a bit rubbery. I suspect it's a combination of buying cheap cuts and just tossing it all in without trimming and maybe not slow cooking in a way for the fat to render properly. Not sure if they read this but I would come back if they can resolve the chewyness because I did like the flavor

I didn’t even get to try the food because when I came in to order the employee that was supposed to help me sat on the floor on her phone scrolling through social media in the front. I sat there and stared at her for a while probably about 10 minutes and she ignored me so I turned around and went somewhere else. Hopefully next time I come, if I ever do again, the employees will be more welcoming and do their job.

This place, up until my recent visit, was hands down one of my favorite places to visit. Today it sucked because of crappy service from the lady at the counter. It appears that she had better things to do. As I wait for my food, I'm starting to question if the food will be off. The three stars is from a previous interaction, being that they forgot my musubi. The ladies assumed I was a door washer here to pick up food, which was not the case. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I hope that the customer service is improved in the future. Honolulu Grill it is for the future. I should have asked for extra gravy.

I love teriyaki sauce... I'm not sure that's what I would call the teriyaki sauce at this place. It left such a nasty aftertaste that I only ate like 3 bites of rice. It left a taste in my mouth that gave me the impression is was mixed with cleaning supplies. I won't be coming back.

The kaysu chicken was good though.

Slow night and we placed a takeout order. It took a long time like 15 minutes to get the order. The food was a poor attempt of copying “Mo Betta’s”. The chicken was really dry, the macaroni salad was like macaroni and mayonnaise with nothing else. Gross. I don’t imagine I will ever be back. We were hopeful and were very let down.

Not great service. Dead inside, person behind the counter fed quite indifferent. Ordered takeout and curbside. Waited for 10 minutes past the order time and walked in to find my food on a rack. What happened to curbside??? Then instead of the fountain coke I ordered I got a bottle… had to return the bottle to exchange for a cup I originally ordered. Staff very unconcerned. Need to pick it up at this location….

This review is location dependent.
Staff can be rude but at very least they are inpatient and annoyed if asked any questions or made to wait a minute while deciding. Basically, you'd better be on your best behavior and knowledgeable before going because they will judge you if you're not. (I know the menu but the person I was with didn't).
The Katsu was soggy and not tasty at all. Masubi are dry; Mobettah's are better.
I will still go to LoLo's in the future but this location has disappointed me one too many times. I've gone multiple times to form a real opinion.

The perfect spot for a casual dinner with island flair. Loved the smoky aroma from the grill and the laid-back atmosphere!
