Cocina Familiar Mexican Cuisine is located in the back of Azteca Latino mall and swap meet, a collective of individual shops inside a large building. The restaurant is one of several stalls offering meals at a food court in the rear of the building. Their tacos are reasonably priced, while the agua fresca and horchata are a bit more expensive but deemed worth it for being freshly made from rice. The Birria tacos and consome have received particular praise, with the consome described as really flavorful and on point. The mole poblano was also pretty tasty. The salsa and tortillas are highly regarded, and the dishes are impressively authentic and wonderfully delicious. The restaurant is recommended for the flavorful and highly rated dishes, including the Caldo beef soup. Tables and chairs fill the area in front of the stalls, and there's a stage for a band or performers as well.
