FYI - the donuts were good, but be aware they add a surcharge if you pay with a credit card. They are allowed to do it as I understand it and it is disclosed on the payment terminal before you pay (so I’m not saying anything is shady), but it is a practice I don’t agree with and not something I want to see other places think is acceptable to do.

Originally from Southern California, I moved to Utah back in 2021—and if there’s one thing I’ve truly missed, it’s the food. Especially those classic Cali-style donuts! After donut hunting for a while, I finally found a spot that hits the mark: Donut Boy.
From the texture of the dough to the icing and filling, everything about these donuts reminds me of the ones I used to grab back home. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to a real Cali donut out here in Utah.
If you're a fellow Californian transplant craving that familiar flavor, Donut Boy is a must-try. Solid 4.5 stars from me!

They still use soybean oil to make their donuts.... Real donuts are made with Palm Oil, way more healthy with tricaprin and 90% less allergies in humans... Very beautiful donuts, just no intelligence in the business model, forever paying Warren Buffet and Sysco to made your decisions for you....

Went first thing Sunday morning, donuts were fresh and tasted amazing!! My husband said it was the best maple donut he’s ever had. Chocolate Dubai donut was delicious! Can’t wait to try the others. Very friendly, family owned. Would recommend!

A decent fritter seems tough to find these days. Most have just become fried cinnamon swirl bread. Donut Boy is one of the few places near me that I go when I’m craving a fritter—there are actual bits of fruit in them and they offer both apple and peach. They also taste fresh, like they haven’t been sitting on the shelf for too long. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every experience here between customer service and the quality of their product.

This places has the best donuts in the Valley. I think it’s equal to the Chevron in Kamas (award winning) except I’ve never seen fritters here. But they do have a wide variety of great donuts and they are always made fresh everyday and taste great. The people are also always really nice and honestly their prices are great too. Love it!
